Work is still progressing on the 16th borehole and we are excited to see the progress made so far. The project always go through 3 phases to be completed and currently we are in phase 2 which is about enhancing the functionality and accessibility of the water facility.
We are very keen about ensuring the long term sustainance of the project which is why each phase has to be meticulously done to avoid issues in future. We do achieve this by ensuring that the right work is done at all project phases.
Also, we endeavour to keep the beneficiary community of the project involved so as to provide extra supervision while work is ongoing. So far, work on phase 2 is almost done and will soon usher us into the last phase where we make the facility ready for use by the community.
Hopefully by the end of this week, we will unveil the new project and make it ready for community use. The video shared captures the first aspect of the project, which involves the survey, borehole development which is all about the mechanization process.
Work on phase 2 has already kicked off with groundwork with series of contructional work. The work involves the excavation of foundation for the tower which houses the water tank, the construction of a wall for taps which serves a platform for easy water access.
Work is almost completed and plans are underway for the grand opening of the project. This is valuable resource to the residents of Dingoni community. There is so much joy in the community and they earnestly look forward to the launch soon.
