Happiness is a Greek word called Eduaimonia; it is translated to the state or condition of ‘good spirit and is commonly translated to happiness or welfare. Happiness is also a state of well-being and contentment characterised by positive emotions, feelings, human satisfaction, and a sense of fulfilment.
You see, happiness means different things to different people; what might be happiness to Mr. A might be taboo for Mr. B. I've spent a long time on earth to be able to tell that what makes one person happy is what makes another person sad. There is a saying that goes like this:
Absolute justice is absolute injustice.
This means that what might be justice to others is also injustice to others, which is also the way happiness is.

Happiness is an expression that one has within his or her mind that shows the emotional state of the person, such as joy, love, or gratitude for receiving a gift.
Happiness is not a constant state of a person but can be developed in a gradual process, and it is an emotional state that goes and comes, unlike everyday things that happen in human life.
Happiness can be developed from your environment, people around you, and your own personal life, such as your income or the materials you possess, which can make someone happy. I've seen people facing difficulties making other people happy. We have psychopaths; their definitions of happiness can make you punk, but what can I say? We live in a world where everyone deserves happiness, don't you agree?
Is happiness a journey or a destination?
I'll say happiness is a journey rather than a destination because when we create a specific goal or desire that will bring happiness to us, we reach that state and stay indefinitely where we have already developed. We have to work our way through to our happy state.
Happiness is a journey that is an ongoing process that involves finding joy and fulfilment in the present situation or state of mind. It also involves the cultivation of a mindset and the adoption of a certain habit that will erase you from a sad moment.
Happiness is not derived from joy; it is a journey that requires a continuous effort of self-care, having positive relationships with people of the same mindset, engaging in meaningful activities, and developing a sense of gratitude and acceptance of all situations. It is also a journey of growth and self-discovery.
What matters most is that happiness is an ongoing journey rather than a fixed destination that helps in creating a life that is meaningful, fulfilling, and stays with the values and aspirations of life.
Something happened today that swiped away the smile I had when I woke up from sleep. A construction project I had been working on for a while is now collapsing for the second time after spending money to rebuild. I felt myself getting lost in depression, and I didn't talk to anyone after the news, and I saw the collapse, but a call from someone special reminding me of my struggles and how I have overcome them gave me the strength to get back on my feet and relieve my pain again. I'm still on the journey to achieve the happiness I seek, and I'll get there.
Anyways, the handsome man up there is @fashtioluwa and he is an alien from Mars. Nice to meet you all, Earthlings.
