Right from my teenagehood have always been a lover of children. I remember how my mum will flog and beat me up each time am caught playing when am supposed to be doing something important at a particular time expecially when they are not of the same age with mine.
I remember how I will get diapers for any of my female friends that put to bed. I still remember how I will get chairs for the children department in my church and my Pastor will pray for me.
Fast forward to the state am serving currently, I had to look for a nearby church I can be attending. I worshipped with them two to three weeks after then, I had to go see the pastor that am interested in joining the children department because as at when I got there, it was only the pastor's wife that was only involved in the teaching of children during Sunday school and also their wellbeing during church hours.
He then asked me some questions about the church and also things related to the children after than he explained to me how it's been done and also told me to start working with them from the following week. I was excited for such an opportunity to be a part of the children's department and also been privilege to be a worker in God's vineyard.
Sincerely speaking since I started teaching the children during Sunday school, have really learnt a lot such as having to tolerate their excesses, learn to control them each time they're misbehaving and also counsel them on the right step to take.
Another reason why I also like children is that each time I teach them on particular topic in the Bible, I get to remember when I was also in the Children department, how my Sunday school teacher will flog and most times report me to my mom as she does this mostly when I find it difficult to recite the memory verse and also repeat the topic after her because while growing up, I was a little bit stubborn.
Fast forward to the Children in my church currently each time I get to teach them, I tend to also remember some stories which am not familiar with in the Bible or the ones have forgotten.
Children are actually funny and exiting to be with. Reason being that they can easily be corrected and also wanting to learn at all times, most expecially when you play with them and also buy them stuff and also get to correct them in love..
I can't wait to be a Mom so I can have my own biological children as I will love to have four children. I had always wanted five kids due to my likeness for children but there are also some factors we also need to put into consideration before bringing them into this world
Such factors include Economic factor, finance, spiritual ,their wellbeing and also their character development.
I will love to train my kids in the way of the lord and also raise them with all moral standards and upbringing
