Sacrificing emergency fund indeed a tough decision

The economic condition of the current world is not so good. In fact, it's getting worse with time. The inflation rate is high, and it's making our life difficult. A few years ago, I just read about inflation in the book, and I had little knowledge about it. But right now I have detailed knowledge about inflation as I am dealing with it, and in recent years the inflation rate has been very high compared to past years.

If I go to the market to buy food, I feel like I am dreaming. The price of all the food crossed more than 3X compared to 3/4 years ago. I didn't expect to face such a situation a few years ago. I am just wondering how poor people are surviving as most of the food prices are too high, even though it's hard for middle-class people to cope up with it. After all, we are humans, and somehow we manage to find a way to survive. In such an economic condition, only cutting up some expenses can help, and we need to make some hard decisions to make it possible.

I have both online and offline earning sources, and I try to separate my online earnings from my real-life expenses. And in case of offline earnings, I don't need to make any plans on how to use those, as I directly give them to my parents. So all the financial matters in the offline world are done them. So I don't worry about my office earnings. I only take money from my hand when I need it. So, I didn't need to make any decisions for offline earning, and I am thankful to my parents for handling it. And my online earnings I kept as savings. But the inflation is striking badly, and it also made an impact in my life as well as in my online earnings.

In the past, whenever I needed money, I asked my parents for it, but this year I knew that everything became expensive. I would feel guilty if I asked for money in such a situation. Unfortunately, this year I needed to spend a lot of money for myself. I didn't need to spend so much money in other years. This year I needed to spend a lot on my research and research paper. I needed to buy some electronic devices also. At the same time, during the festival times, I needed to assist my parents with expenses. And all the things I have done for the money I earned online.

To be honest, I was raising an emergency fund for my family as well as for me in the time of emergencies. I think emergency funds were an important thing for me, and I saved a handsome amount of funds there, but this year, to assist with the tasks I mentioned here, I spent my savings of emergency funds. I was quite serious about the emergency fund, but I was forced to spend it. And it was the hardest financial decision I have taken in this year.
