Hello everyone, welcome to my blog🤗.
Harmattan has a certain feeling that it brings to Christmas. Wearing that adorable jacket, head warmer, hand gloves, and socks on Christmas Eve is a huge thrill.
This year's Christmas has nothing like harmattan. I'd say the weather is confused.
It may be a little colder in the morning, then weather is regular before 9:00 am and extremely hot before nightfall. Thats how unpredictable the weather is.
A few weeks ago, it became really cold in the morning and at night, but still a little normal in the afternoon... then I was glad because finally harmattan is here.
After a very long time, I finally turned off my air conditioner at night, my nose was acting like I caught the flu, and it really seems like harmattan.
A few days later, a very strong heat began; at first, I believed it would cool off at night, but instead, the heat increased.
The weather simply changed abruptly, everywhere became normal but the air is dry. The air is so dry that within few minutes of wiping the floor it's already dried. Or few minutes after dusting the furniture, you can still see some white patches on it despite the fact that the door is locked.
Some days, it just starts raining without any warning. I was surprised when it began to rain in the early weeks of December. I was like rain in December? when I'm expecting harmattan.
Nobody expected rain that day because it was sunny. I stepped out to go buy some items in a nearby shop, and as soon as I got home, it started to rain. I was relieved that I was already home because I didn't expect it to rain, so I didn't go out with an umbrella or raincoat. If only i was still out when it began to rain, probably i might get drenched or i stand somewhere where there is shade and wait till it stop to rain.
Currently, the weather is hot, and my children's skin is so sensitive to heat that even a little perspiration causes rashes.
Because of how unpredictable the weather is, I stopped using the air conditioner at night because we all caught cold, and I don't want it to happen again. However, even with a standing fan in the room, it appears that my children continue to sweat because I have noticed heat rashes on several parts of their bodies.

To keep my children cool, I bathe them in warm water instead of hot water and dress them in light clothing. I use tap water at a typical temperature for myself. The weather is currently hot, but nobody knows if it will be cold tomorrow or later in the day.
I kept an umbrella in my car's boot because you never know when it will rain. Whenever I'm going out on foot, i have a small foldable umbrella i carry in my handbag just incase it rains so i don't get drenched.
I wear a nose mask when I go out since the air is dry and dusty. Especially when passing across a sand-filled path. If you don't use a nose mask, be prepared to start sneezing or end up catching flu.
I have missed wearing my cardigan, socks, head warmer, and hand gloves; I simply wish it would become cold since I dislike hot weather. The annoying part is that despite the rain the weather is still hot.
I hope the weather will be consistent rather than fluctuating.
Thank you for reading through 🤗.
