JOB HUNTING: How I Escaped Mine

in #hive-176874last year

I've heard lots of people hunting for Jobs and probably searching for a better job that would pay their bills and take care of their expenses...

And this usually takes longer time for one to actually get one considering the population from where I come from, lots of Workers are on ground but then no Job available that equates their number...

And most times one can go a whole year without even getting one and even when you get a Job it probably may not be what you signed up for, even when your field of studies is different from your current Job. And because of that Many people today are currently working in places they never wanted to.

But then they don't have an option other than to work; at least something is coming from there and to avoid society saying they're jobless and Lazy.

Initially I had signed for a Mentorship program which would last for some months in one of my mentors. Although while I was getting prepared for the program I had thought to myself on how I was gonna survive while i go through the Program, little did I know that while I was busy troubling myself for nothing A Job was cooking for me on a Low.

Just when the time was Close I got a Decent Teaching Job that pays really well and well located at where I wouldn't spend much even when I'm paid at the end of the month. Some Jobs when you get them which is not close to where you come from probably you would have to spend money for transportation everyday and also money for House Rent to the extent that what you're working for; you may not see the fruit of it and we sometimes call this kind of work "From Hand to Mouth" as you earn you eat and settle expenses...

You are not able to have savings even at the end of the Year because your expenses are greater than your Earnings. How will one be able to make progress. Never!

But my case was different. I was given a Paid Apartment and even weekly supply of food stuff and most times aside from the Salary at the end of the Month I was privileged to start some extra moral lessons even after school hours and this really fetch me good money that covered most of my expenses and even sometimes I get some stipends from by Boss when the spirit leads him to.

Because of these privileges I was able to make some savings that got me a good phone with also the help of some individuals that God favored to Bless me too. And also I was able to start up a Honey Business as a result of my Savings and this was massive and I'm very much grateful for How God uses people to Bless me everywhere I go.

I Loved my Teaching Job and My Kids gave me a Sweet Name "Uncle Joshua Whiskkeee" although they mothered it but I wouldn't blame them because they were kids and I loved it because it gives me joy whenever I'm around them.

My Kids Loved me and I Loved them tooo

Although they Missed me so much but I couldn't just help it because the time of my departure was at Hand just like that of Christ. Lol.

Jobs like this Don't come around often and when they come; hold them dear to the heart also not every Boss would be so kind to you to give his Employee such privileges like that...

Looks like you had the luck of your life, based on what you described here. Thank God, I had no such struggle when I was job hunting. I got most of the jobs I applied to, right away, except one.

Job Hunting isn't an easy one though... Thank Goodness you never had the experience to have to go from one company to another.
