I Was delighted reading about @merit.ahama post on Her interesting Journey to Port Harcourt and it really caught my attention while I already had the mind coming to Ph I then decided to join in the trend to share my own exciting experience to Port Harcourt and even while I was there.

My Journey to Port Harcourt has been a long awaited one, I've planned to visit this place after years of my last visit.....

Although I almost missed my bus which was supposed to convey me and my colleagues just a tip of the iceberg. This journey was supposed to last for about two hours thirty minutes but you know; because of traffic as usual and the bad road which was destroyed by Flood, we had to spend up to four good hours on our way even when Google gave us their timing on the journey, it had to readjust itself several times because of our delay. Lol

This Port Harcourt is very expensive here and I thought the little money I had planned to journey with and take care of some of my expenses would be enough but then this place took the hell out of my wallet. Their local market was quite interesting though but then you have to spend like a Odogwu(someone who have plenty money) for money you don't have.

Even though their things are expensive here, their meal was worth the money. They have delicious meals Because they are well known for good food.

Very rich and nutritious meals. And because their meals are delicious I always look forward to meal time and I don't like to miss this part at alll.

We had our student way of feeding where everybody would be ment to cue up standing. It is always a long wait before your turn and by then you must have exhausted your whole energy for the wait. IMG_20230729_073025_602.jpg

I had a lot of time with my guys around the town although we didn't have much time to spend outside because of our busy schedule

As a result of our outing where I was thrilled for the first time seeing a Gas Powered Generator although I've heard of it several times people saying it but never came across it in real life before. And it was Wowwed!!

Even while we couldn't do much of walking around we met new friends and I could say these guys are just really cool and the vibe is just so unique. -

We talked and laughed together and we even shared our experiences about the current hike in fuel and how it almost made many of us not to embark on this trip but we conquered all odds.

Our driver was the bravest among us. He lost His tricycle to the hands of thieves just a day before our Journey and we thought we couldn't make it but then He decided to still take us to and fro our journey never Minding the Situation that was before Him and this really gave me Joy that no matter what happens never allow that determine your present and he didn't.

This journey reminds me of when I was about to gain admission to school when things were upside down but then we were able to scale through. I learnt a lot from this journey and the exposure was quite educating and I was able to Learn, relearn, and Unlearn about Management and Coordinative living.

Surprisingly, I Met with Merit's Mom after Many years and this was the most interesting part of this Journey.

She was lit, vibrant as always although that wasn't the first time of us seeing each other but I didn't see that coming at all. She isn't just Merit's Mom only but she happened to be a Mother figure to me and She calls me Son.

The Journey Ended with Beautiful Gifts.

Books and Bibles and these really meant so much to me cause it gave an upgrade to my Library and I thanked God that I was able to visit Port Harcourt again......

Lol, sorry to hear about the inconvenience on the road. I think I would have gone crazy as I'm not used to traffic jams and delays. Anyway, good thing everything else was ok.

I see you're not very active on Hive. I hope to see a change on that front, hope to see you engaging more as that's key on Hive.

Yeah... Thanks a lot for the Encouragement

Got busy most days buh then that's not an excuse...

Port-Harcourt is a very busy city with a good number of population so there will always be traffic because everyone is busy moving up and down. And for fun you will have a lot there too

Yeah... The fun was massive...

These busy people are just so busy with their business and you may be surprised that they don't even have your time to the extent to when you're stranded...

Portharcourt sounds like an interesting city to visit. Bet you had fun.

Sure I did Have Fun while in Ph... It's really a very interesting City to visit

How I wish I could have another visit there again...
