Imagine a newbie, who knows almost nothing about the blockchain telling another newbie about the blockchain... Would that be effective in getting the newbie to join Hive? Maybe it may but if we've experienced how some newbies behave on the platform, we'd agree that these kinds may not see the importance or may take rules for granted... Aftermaths may not be good for Hive.

So I thought,
If promoting Hive should be effective, it should be done by people who know what they are doing on Hive and know their way around.
Marketing Hive and succeeding in bringing people to the blockchain does not end there, we have to keep these people who are convinced to go for the long term and be soon active users who would also bring more people to the blockchain and the chain continues. So what feasible and effective strategies can be done to achieve that?
I thought about a few ways we as active members of the blockchain can bring people to be curious about the blockchain, they aren't special ways as I've read a few contents with same strategy but this is me focusing more on the Active Users doing the work. It is important that Hive is promoted by promoting the active users for effectiveness but how?
Hive is a blockchain for Web3, a blockchain that many are in search of but haven't find yet waiting for us, who found and are active in it to show or tell them about it. Well, I believe more in showing than telling people about something I'm very sure is good for anyone to be part of. No need to give long speeches, argue or act desperate to tell someone about something that would be good for them... Such things require just your Activeness in it and how much you're showing for someone or people to see.
Promote Hive Products, Place and Price on Web 2
Hive has a lot that we can show out to the world even without words but then, it's important we state clearly what those things are that we're showing. The world today are mostly on Web 2 aside a part of it that have embraced web 3. Our main target should be on those who are active on the lower web to embrace and evolve into the new, leading and better Web.
There are like a billion ways to do this and get results. I'll share a few I've used that have worked for me and would even be more effective if more active users use them.
Build a connection on Web 2 platforms: There's Facebook, Instagram, twitter, YouTube, WhatsApp, Snapchat to build these connection between you and people who are yet to find importance in being part of the Web 3. It's still shocking to see the multitude that are so active on these platforms, spending so much data but not gaining much aside a reputation and likes they wish to keep getting from the public. Promoting Hive products, platform and how it's crypto price is changing lives in the real world on these platform will definitely bring results.
Create things, share ideas, be of help to people: This is just about thinking outside the box more regularly to show people what Hive is all about. And that is where what @hive.ghana is doing comes in as a really good example. Making notebooks, flyers, business cards, t-shirts with Hive logos on them... I do get curious too about some things when I see I written somewhere so yeah, anyone would be curious to know about Hive when they read from these things or even see the logo being displayed well enough. Helping people with money made from Hive is also effective, you let it show that the money couldn't have been available if not Hive.
Promote Hive Active Users (The People)
This part is important to get people who would stay on Hive for long term and I'd say it should be the main focus when we want to market what Hive is all about. Personally, I give myself off to the public I'm opened to on my other social media and I share my content links to them, I celebrate my wins (huge upvotes) and some withdrawals I did to get something important for myself. They come to ask more questions themselves and I tell them more and how consistent they have to be to get there (no pressure at all). Active Users should sell themselves out on different platforms, it's a strategy that I think is super genuine and effective.
It's not so hard to promote Hive and gain good results if we are doing it right. There are many ways to do it right in this case but then, we should always refrain from pressuring or talking too much to get people to join the platform, they would if they want to with just a few words and shows.
