Gifts can vary depending on who and what you want to gift. It might be your parent, wife , child or even colleague at work and sometimes all of these people at a go. Today , I want to share with you some budget friendly gift ideas for the festive season.
At this time of the year, it’s all love and happiness. When it comes to gifting, I believe it’s the thought that matters the most and not what is being given. If I can remember right, since I was a kid, my neighbors always gave us eatables during Christmas. It can be cookies and chocolates with some drinks and sometimes we are not even able to finish them and end up sending them to school to share with friends when school resumes next year.
In times like these, some of these snacks and sweets are in abundance and kids love to have some chocolates while parents also would like to use these sweets to get the kids off their backs. So, my first budget friendly gift idea for the season would be chocolate, cookies and whatever snack you can come across which is nice and can be kept for a while. I bet there would we a lot of promos running on these products and you sure wouldn’t want to miss out.
Next, who wouldn’t want to look back and remember those smiles during Christmas some years back. Everyone loves a little throwback. Personally, I think picture frames and photo albums come in very handy at this time of the year. The good thing is, most people wouldn’t pay attention to it due to technology and so once you get something like this, it takes everyone’s mind back to the old days and they would all wish to go back and experience everything they used to do in those times. And oh, picture frames and photo albums don’t really cost much.
To add to these, anything you think would be of help to someone at this time of the year is something you could gift them. It could be foodstuff, clothing or any other thing that would lessen the burden on them. I’ve seen people give others gifts which in a way, have no use. Even though the thought counts, it’s essential to give out gifts which would beneficial in such times.
Imagine @fashtioluwa gifting me a candle for Christmas when he’s the one that needs it the most. A prefect example you have right there.😅
Let’s put smiles on the faces of others while staying without our budget cos remember, there’s life after December.
