I hope you all are doing well?
It's just funny how life can be,the joys of childhood is just sweet and unforgettable one.
For me I was one stubborn kid, I can't really say though, I always think I am that Gentle Man I am, but my mum and Dad side of the story got me thinking of how people can really change over the course of years, according to my mum I was so stubborn that I am always insisting on getting my way. My parents would often joke that I had a Ph.D. in stubbornness!, very funny stuff.
So here are some of the Unbelievable stuffs I did in my childhood.
I was a very passionate Tire Rider😂
So I was always passionate about driving things, bicycle, motorcycle, tires and any round objects that can be used to catch cruise all day long.
So first off I have a partner In crime when I was a very young: Abayomi is his name, he is popularly known as bobo by people in the neighborhood.
So to start the day, me and Abayomi will start our Daily Voyage by Riding Bicycles or any motorcycle people recklessly park around our House then.
So Abayomi had a bicycle that he shared and we ride all around the town.
Whenever we embarked on our journey, we won't come back till it's night. So on a fateful our parents have had enough of our reckless journey, they decided to seize the bicycle.
Just as you can imagine, we were so devastated about it. So haven seen that there is no more bicycle to ride, we Started riding tires, all we do is to roll the tires and enjoy our time, we get so into riding tires, we do come back at night, whenever we get tired and exhausted. One day during our daily trip
We got lost far away from our town and the police men have to secure us in the police station, already my mum was already panicking and created a search team to look for me, especially when I didn't return that night, some how the police men were able to locate my mum.
Here is the crazy part, The police men gave me Mum two Hot slaps for not paying proper attention and Guardian to the kids. She was super angry with me, abayomi's mum took was so infuriated with us, but she didn't show it in the police station, but when we reached home , she dealt with us mercilessly, but we were so stubborn that we continued our old ways.
I also remembered refusing to eat some some food, I am always selective and I am good at throwing tantrums in the supermarket,churches, even whenever we are on a picnic, my mum tells me that I am also always picky: I am always insisting on wearing my favorite cartoon (Superman)character t-shirt every single day. My poor parents had their hands so full 😂.
I will always love my parents: despite the challenges (My Extreme stubbornness, annoying and troublesome) my parents patiently guided me, I was taught the importance of Respect,sharing, Obedience and Godliness And although I'm now very Gentle but just maybe I might be a little stubborn, from my parents I've learned to be Honest and kind to people.
In conclusion:
Looking back, I'm very grateful for life, all those childhood lessons and for my amazing parents who knew Me and loved me unconditionally,Kudos to them.
