We all live our lives every day; there is always a different human with a different perspective on life; we all have different characters; and it is always hard to know what the next person is thinking.
Every day of our lives we offend someone, or anybody can even offend us, and we all react to things in some kind of way that sometimes is pleasing and sometimes is not. But we are humans anyway; we are not perfect.
If I have 24 hours left to live, what will I do?
If I even get the chance to know how long I will live, it will be a great opportunity, even if it is just for a day. Here is the list of things I will do before I breathe my last:
Firstly, I would pray to God to forgive me all my sins, because we are all sinners and we have offended God, so nobody is a saint. So it is mandatory that I ask God for forgiveness of sin.
Secondly, I will call all the people I have offended and beg for their forgiveness, and I will also call the people who have offended me and bury the hatchet with them, and I will make sure we are on good terms again.
Also, I will gather all my family and friends together, and we will have good times together, talk about life generally, and also pray together. Though they might not know what is happening, I will look for a way to bring everybody together, even though they are not on good terms. I will try to allow everybody to make peace with one another.
Further, I would go to a place I've always wanted to go, have fun, and make sure I didn't let anything get in my way. I would try out all the dishes I haven't tried before as well as the ones I have always wanted to try. I am also going to do the things I love the most during my outing, like dancing, singing, making videos with everyone, and creating memories that will last forever.
I would also create my own quiet time for a moment to reflect and meditate, to think about my life, my experiences, and everything that matters to me. I would do that so I could find peace and solace in the present moment.
During these moments, if I have the capability to make an impact in someone's life, I will seize that moment to do it in any way that I can. I would also use that opportunity to express my feelings to my loved ones in the form of letters or have a heart-to-heart discussion with them.
I would also use a few minutes to write down my thoughts, advice, and life lessons that can impact anyone who reads them in the near future. I would also use the opportunity to enjoy the nature of life, like walking in the park, listening to music, watching the sunset or sunrise, or just simply appreciating the world around me and the nature that provides comfort.
Lastly, I would use the last few minutes of my time to say my goodbyes to everyone I know, tell them a few things, and crack a few jokes. Though it is going to be a very hard moment, I would try to be at peace because everyone is eventually going to die one day, but if one gets the opportunity to die a peaceful death, then one should definitely be at peace of mind.
