The pastor keeps calling on the groom, now everyone seems tensed. Where could the groom be? And i was still here waiting to be called with my smiley face when i got the news that my groom-to-be was nowhere to be found!
Before I continue my name is Pearl and this is my story. I was supposed to be getting married today, and my groom is nowhere to be found.
I reached out for my phone and dailed his number severally but no response. Then i called his best man which was his best friend, and he told me that he has been trying to reach him also but he is not picking up. Where could he be now? I kept wondering
All I could hear from left and right was calm down maybe he went to get something and got stuck in traffic, but I was not taking that at all, like why would he choose his wedding day out of all day to go and get something? What nonsense thing is he getting?
My best friend who was beside me trying to calm me down and at the same time trying to reach my groom suddenly tapped me and was like I'm not going to believe what I'm about to see, I dragged the phone from her and went through what she was talking about, suddenly I blacked out.
They were able to call me back to earth and all I could do was just cry. So indeed my groom-to-be was supposed to get married but not to me? The notification my best friend got was from Instagram and it was my groom-to-be. He uploaded that he had just gotten married to the love of his life, so what was I?
That day was the worst day of my life, I could barely eat or do anything, I was really humiliated, not just on any day but on a day that was supposed to be the best day of my life. There's no way I'm letting this slide, I thought to myself.
I started planning out things I was going to do to get back at him, I couldn't do anything at the moment because he was on his honeymoon with that girl he had just gotten married to.
So first, since I'm good with dragging people who have done wrong on social media, i intend to drag him to come and give full explanation why he would do that to me? Why would he propose and bring me to the altar when he knows he's not going to get married to me not only will I drag him, but I'm also going to make sure that he gets humiliated.
My second plan was as soon as he got back to the country he would be arrested on arrival, even if I had to take a loan to do it, I would still do it.
Or better still, I would report him to soldiers or the army and ask them to help me handle him and also publicly disgrace him for doing that and make him see me as his worst nightmare.
