Okay, so I'm the kind of person who is always thinking and reading. As I journey through my little life, I have come to the realization that every moment in our life is sort of like a look into our future. The way we approach each moment, goal, and day can tell a lot about how successful we are going to be.
I have also come to the second realization that the better our preparation before we start each day or journey, the less work will be needed to stay on track. I can personally testify to one particular day last year where I planned out literally everything I was going to do the next day with the Microsoft To-Do List app. To my surprise, I realized that I had accomplished a lot on that day than I normally would.
A certain kind of feeling of victory always came to me whenever I ticked one of those tasks off the list. It gave me a little sense of fulfillment and a feeling of accomplishment. I felt quite very productive that day being able to see what I have accomplished. It was not so great a task, but the fact that I ticked them off made me feel good.
You see, sometimes, we do awesome stuff, but because we don't track or keep records, we sort of get the feeling that we are doing nothing. One thing I learned from my psychology class is that self-esteem can be built through knowing and acknowledging the things you've been able to accomplish.
I hope you are very familiar with that popular saying, "failing to plan is planning to fail." I can tell you for a fact that there is more energy released from both your brain and body to accomplish tasks when you are prepared for it. Your mind sort of gets the idea of what it needs to do that day and gets itself ready to help you accomplish all of them. All of your body energy is geared towards accomplishing those known tasks when you have a focus rather than leaving your day to chance.
I know that routines can sometimes be very boring, especially for some types of personalities, but the only way to accomplish any great goal is to work at it each and every day. Like they also say, "it is through persistently striking a big tree with the axe 🪓 that makes it come falling to its knees."
As my first message to this beautiful community, I encourage each and every one of us to always prepare for our day and try our best to stay focused and accomplish the tasks we set for ourselves. I'm not saying that you would accomplish everything; even I myself fail sometimes due to unexpected things that happen in our day-to-day activities, but this process really helps you to stay accountable to yourself and helps you stay focused on your goals.
Thank you for reading this post, and I hope you liked it. Stay safe out there. Love you all.
