There are quite a number of hive projects undertaken by the hiveghana community but there are still so many people that are not aware of it.
I’m not very much into social media but I don’t know quite a couple of things about social media marketing, which I believe is a key way to get the attention we need.
The social media platform I would like to emphasize on is TikTok. It has become one of the fastest way to reach a lot of people. And considering that most of the youth are on TikTok daily scrolling to pass their time, it would really interest them to know of a platform where they could still put out their content ideas and still have fun scrolling through and interacting.
But most of all, it would really interest them to know they could gain financial freedom whilst doing what they love. Most of these social media platforms, you would have to gain a lot of crowd and stuff before you will be able to earn something from it whereas over here, you have the ability to control how you grow.
I think creating a TikTok account and dedicating someone to manage it, plan social media marketing strategies, daily content for not just TikTok, but other platforms such as instagram.
Here in Ghana, I believe the target audience should be the youth. We could embark on an outreach to tertiary institutions and have seminars to enlighten them on what hive has to offer.
A key worry of every university student is how to get their own funds and learning about a platform such as hive, you can be sure they would be more than willing to put in their best. The university in its diverse nature will make it possible to sell hive to different regions since the students come from different part of the country to study. Each one going back home would have something new to share with their hommies.
I’m sure with time, we would discover more ways to market hive to the people out there. There so much to share.
This is my entry into the @hive.ghana challenge for this week.
