I bought my first smartphone during my last year in secondary school. It was a roughly used Samsung Galaxy s4. I was very impressed with everything about this phone except that I had to charge it every 30 minutes.
It wasn’t long before I swapped it with a slightly used Samsung Galaxy s5. This one was far better than the s4. The camera was so good that I could see John Cena.
All the time I was enjoying my new phone, I thought the only problem I had with it was the battery. This was what I believed until my screen burst upon falling and I realized that I could not afford a new screen without selling a leg or arm.
Parts of Samsung gadgets are extremely expensive compared to other Android devices and even iPhones. Fixing a Samsung smartphone screen costs a KIDNEY.
It’s not a joke when people say when your Samsung phone falls, your heart breaks before the screen.
iPhones on the other hand are fairly not expensive to maintain. When I was using an iPhone 6s, I replaced the screen several times and I still have two kidneys.
However, the IOS software is far behind in terms of innovation. They just take the previous version, add a new lens, and put it in a new box.
The latest iPhone 15 has 5x zoom, whilst the Samsung s23 has 100x zoom, iPhone has 48 megapixels and Samsung has 200. The latest Samsung phones have enough lenses to find Donald Trump’s personality. Enough zoom to find your last brain cell. Samsung is the underrated one.
I think the major reason why most people prefer iPhones is brand Appeal. Apple's marketing strategy has successfully created a strong brand appeal, making iOS devices aspirational and exclusive, which attracts consumers. That is why you’ll find more celebrities with the latest iPhones.
iPhones are extremely overrated, but you’ll buy them anyway.
It has been awhile. I know, and I’m not going to sit and watch you accuse me of something I’m very guilty of. So don’t come at me.
