One of the greatest things that I have really learned from my parents was how to start appreciating every little thing that given to me and not only the big things. Especially my mummy she is such a nice woman that is full of kind heart, I really love the way she does her things, though she does not know I always look and in an away monitor all her doings, that is why it is always superb to be well-disciplined so that the children can emulate and start exhibiting the act.
The reason I am emphasizing on my mummy is that we are always together at home while my daddy goes to work, I am not saying my daddy is not emulating the habit too, but when it comes to having many things to say about appreciation, I think my mummy is an excellent example.
There was a friend of my mum's that came to our house, and it happened to be my mummy’s old-time friend, it got to our knowledge that she came to Lagos to get something meanwhile she used the opportunity to branch our house, so she could say hello to my mummy. We were all at home the day she came, I mean I and my siblings. She was nice to us that day she came to pay a visit and after all their discussions, then the time came that she had to start leaving for her place.
Then she decided to give i and my siblings an amount of 500 Naira. Seriously, the way and manner one of my siblings collected the money from her really showed that she did not truly appreciate it because she felt the money was too small for us all. My mummy noticed, and she decided to be mute about it, waiting for her friend to be on her way, meanwhile the character displayed by my sibling, really got my mummy up outraged and uncomfortable.
Then after her friend had already gone, my mummy could not now wait a moment to correct her about her bad attitude, she made us know that regardless of what anyone gives us, we should always exhibit the habit of appreciations always because it always opens door for more to come.
I really like my mummy about her good attitude.
