The common saying that a little drop of water can make a river isn't true in any way; in fact, the little act of love and impact we have on people can go on to save lives, change their status, even light up their mood, and much more. Such an impact doesn't necessarily have to be related to money or a financial gift, although that could also have a great impact. But what we see—meer advice, encouragement, being there at their trying times, and guidance—can go on to do wonders in some people's lives, so we shouldn't disprove how little we've got to offer or refrain from doing something because you feel it's small.

Now to buttress more on this, I'll love to share one of my experience and interaction with people that I felt was just a little impact that went on to have a wonderful impact on their lives, and to me, it was just me doing something that I felt wasn't really valuable, but over time it went on to be productive.
A few months ago, a couple of university students came to my place of work to indulge in their teaching practices that were to last about 3 months. During the course of their stay, I was so wowed by their impact and how well they did during their time with us despite not being paid, so I called them to have an interaction where I told them how impressed I was and how I'd love to give them something in return for the service rendered.
So I said there's two ways to what I want to give them: either I give each one of them a cash gift of 2000 naira or I show them an avenue where they can invest their time, skills, and intelligence and earn in return. Most of them chose the latter, and I told them about Hive. Fast forward to the present day; although not all of them became active on Hive, among them we've come to see those who have been growing at a steady pace.
And one even told me that what he's earning here on hive month is far more than what his elder brother, a graduate, earns in his 7-to-5 job monthly. He was full of thanks, and I just smiled knowing that my little advice has gone on to help him have a stream of income as well as channels where he can learn and become more productive.
That, in my opinion, is a typical example of what a little droplet of water, advice, support, encouragement, and the like can do and how such can go on to become something enormous that could even come back to save us in return.
That's about all for now. I hope you enjoyed the read. Thanks so much for your time. Have a wonderful day ahead.
