in #hive-176874last year

Hello everyone, It is another week to participate in the engagement topics organized by Hive Ghana. It is a pleasure being part of this community. I have always waited for the hive Ghana feed on the week engagement topics to make my entries on hive. Thank you, Hive Ghana, for these amazing topics every week.

This is another month for being creative and active on the hive. A month full of health activities I am delighted that I am going to share the little knowledge I have about breast cancer. This is a sensitive topic as it concerns our mothers. I hope our sisters, aunties, and mothers will cooperate with health workers to live a healthy life.

This is a disease with a widely known infection in women. It is only a small population of men that is affected by this deadly disease when it is not detected in its early stages. It's largely known in postmenopausal women (women above 50 years).

It is a life threat, and it is known to be caused by the hormones estrogen and progesterone. These two hormones are responsible for the spread of these diseases in the human system. This disease is specifically classified by the number of receptors in the tumor cells.

The disease is treated by using endocrine therapy when the number of receptors is large to block the actions performed by the hormone. Regular screening is also an advised method by health professionals for detecting and curing this disease.

Here is a little I can say about breast cancer. And I hope to receive more education about this disease from @nattybongo. Thank you for reading this post.

Additional information indicates that sucking the breast is another preventive measure for this disease. I don't totally believe in this, and our health professions say it is an alternative to preventing. Okay, guys, let's help prevent breast cancer here. Thank you

The rate of breast cancer has greatly reduced now than before. Maybe because people are getting more knowledge on how to prevent it more now than before, I remember a family friend died because of this infection.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts

So sorry your family member passed away because of breast cancer. This is really reducing drastically and I hope people are much aware of it now

And I hope to receive more education about this disease from @nattybongo.
