The Rich African culture

in #hive-176874last year
Today is a stressful day at the cultural center in Tamale. I am exhausted, but I cannot miss contributing to the weekly engagement topics on Hive Ghana. These are interesting topics for this week, and I am here to share my thoughts with the good people of this community. Anyway, thanks to hive Ghana for this initiative, which helps us share and actively engage on hive.

I am happy to share my participation in African or Western culture as the engagement topic of the week. This is a mixed-feeling engagement topic that Hive Ghana has put onboard for members to share their views on. Western or African culture is not a one-time decision. One must be careful in his or her analysis to choose the best that suits his or her needs.

Culture can simply be defined as the continuous practice of a common thing among people that is passed from one generation to the next. Globalization and modernization have altered the genesis of our cultures. Continuous education and learning have also had an impact on beautifying and modernizing our cultures.

Culture is a wide topic, and it is open to making decisions based on the norms and beliefs of the people. Hospitality is one of the main cultures of Africans. Africans are being friendly and nice when they meet on their way. This may vary based on the individual character, but it is generally in the blood of African people to be supportive, nice, and generous to strangers. It is in the veins of Africans to receive strangers with good hands.

Another culture is the annual festival celebration among African people. I am narrowing this down to the recent celebration of the Damba festival in the northern part of Ghana. This is a festival celebrated among the northern people, and it serves to bring unity, peace, and a congregational meeting to the people of Dagban. It is among the richest cultures in Africa and widely known across the world because it is a festival celebrated by the oldest kingdom in Africa.

Africa is rich in culture. The culture and values of Africans help boost tourist attractions. Thank you
