We salvage and scrap each week. Most of what we handle is metal, but sometimes furniture. We recovered a desk that had three boxes of baseball cards and a box of dominoes. Instead of trashing them, we added them to an online auction site.
This is our second sale of a box of cards. In this case, it's 484 cards in a 1989 Bowman box. It sold for $26 minus the $8 for shipping, so the net is $18.
Our first box netted around $15. Here's the link on that post: https://peakd.com/hive-172022/@fredgsanford/baseball-cards-from-the-desk-drawer-topps-today-for-the-win
We are into the second week of scrapping and salvaging. So that brings our 14 day total to $68.09 scrap, $20 saw, baseball cards $50.95= $139.04 Gross Revenue.
There's still one more box of Fleer baseball cards from 1990. We picked up a mini-fridge today that I think might still work. And, the people who gave us the fridge also tossed in some Barbie dolls. We are keeping it out of the landfill!
