Good Morning to the people of the HIVE
Today I am here to talk about the recent Game of the Year Award show that was held very recently and who came out as the winner of this award was shocking in my perspective.
So there were a lot of games that were nominated for Game of the year award and some of the most notable ones were Astro Bot, Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Metaphor: ReFantazio, and Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree and among all of them if I had to choose which game was going to win I would have chosen either Black Myth Wukong or Elden Ring but surprisingly the winner for the 2024 Game of the Year was ASTROBOT a game that I had never heard about.
Now after the announcement was made that Astro Boy is the Game of the Year I wanted to know more about this Game but what I found was just a bit more complex version of Subway Surfers and I am not throwing shade upon the Game in itself but when you are being compared to Black Myth Wukong and Elden Ring Astro Bot is like a Kid out of a Womb and in my opinion it definitely did not deserve to win Game of the Year 2024.
