Welcome in this post I share my disappointing experience with the kid echo show and the amazon kids subscription.
I saw this thing on amazon while browsing their online shop and thought that maybe it would be worth a shot, I was hoping maybe it can show them picture of animals and stuff like that and it comes with a year subscription to amazon kids, it supposed to let your kids play games and listen to books on amazon devices.
Well I figured why not it is 10 dollars more then the regular echo show.
It arrived the next day me and the kids fairly hype, this thing is total trash it is slow and buggy.
It takes forever to load up a video they have in their kids videos library, really sad for a new unit, also the audiobooks are alright but you can't choose them just plays a random ones, and the games are just kids centric alexa skills that you can get on any echo device.
This subscription maybe a bit better on an amazon tablet maybe you actually get some nice kids games as those are usually behind paywalls but since we don't own any amazon tablets I can't say for sure.
Overall I am very disappointed at this amazon offering and I feel like its disrespectful for the children there is a lot of potential in a gadget like this but this is clearly not it
