Crazy things are happening in Nigeria, Last month my sister called me that a loan app credited her bank account with the sum of 17 500 Naira and she added that she never requested a loan from them... I had to tell her to confirm with her daughter and anyone she thinks has access to her phone if they initiated the loan but she replied that no one did it.

These people have her details, phone number, and access to her gallery, I got confused because how did they have access to all this information without her consent, I told her to go to her bank to inform them she never asked for the loan so they can tell her the step to take, Not sure if she visited or not but that was where I stopped following up.
Yesterday, I received a call from her telling me that the same people posted her picture online with the tag that she is a fraud and called her all sort of name, she added that she already sent back the 17 500 that they sent to her but seems those people want interest on the loan that was given without the recipient consent.

The painful part was that she returned the money, and now she had nothing to compensate her for the reputation they were trying to tarnish, She showed me the picture they posted and the red tag on it labeling her a fraud and criminal...
I am still confused about how they could do such a thing without her asking for the money if that is what truly happened then those people are the real criminals and the government needs to look into this before it turns into something else.
She was worried and created a group chat where she added all her contacts to inform them that she never requested money from them, I felt she doesn't need to do all that though, she is just stressing herself over nothing, am sure those loan sharks ain't even verified by the government.
If I were the one they sent money to without my consent, I wouldn't return that money and I would care less if they post my picture online or call my contacts, I don't care, and that money they send will be spent well.
