God in his mercy spared his life, I guess he was lucky that his younger brother came home not long after he drank it, that one saw him vomiting and holding his stomach and when he neared him, he realized something was smelling, and behold it was a sniper.
What could have led a boy of 19 years old to want to commit suicide!. sometime last year his mum called me that he said he didn't want to go to school anymore and I told her to let him be and that he must have his reason, she said he is almost done cos he is in 300 level so it would be a wasted effort and money, so she persuaded him to continue... The back story was that we were supposed to get admitted into the same school, unfortunately, I was not picked while he was, so that ruined the plan cos he was supposed to be in my custody, i was supposed to be his guardian, so I had to run a part-time program in another school while he went ahead to process his admission into our first choice, so I don't know the struggle he was facing there that made him want to quit, he said he had a carryover, but I don't think that is enough reason to want to take his own life.
I guess he was bullied but that still does not justify the suicide act. so what could be wrong? could it be a spiritual thing? Anyway the hospital asked his mum to deposit 40k Naira and I said no billing this year, I had no choice but to drop the money, this is a matter of life and death, so fuck other things.

His life was saved and his mother agreed that he wouldn't go to school anymore, one of my cousins told me about how she lost one of her friends to sniper two years ago because of a girl, and the same girl is now married with a kid while the idiot that killed himself is gone forever.
Suicide should never be an option no matter how depressed you are, To be honest, I still don't understand how they get that courage, cos there is no easy death, stabbing yourself is so painful and no person in his sane mind would wanna try that, poison is worse cos it will eat up your organ so just don't get it!
I heard the story of a guy whose wallet was hacked and he lost 200,000 dollars which happened to be his life savings and he took poison too, though he was saved as well.... Again no matter what happens, suicide should never be an option!
