It is the start of a new week and it is another opportunity to remind you that you are making progress and don't be discouraged with the present situation if you are not seeing as much result as you expect. Each person have a goal that they have set for themselves either for personal or career growth, that is, who they aspire to become. It is also almost impossible for two different individuals to have the same level of target - there will always be variations. Our needs may be similar in a way but it is not always the same. There are people who are seriously working towards getting a job, while there are people whose needs is to bag their a degree in their desired higher institution of learning.
There are times when you feel like you are far away from your destination and it may begin to affect your productivity and overall well-being. When you begin to let the thoughts get to you it may affect your relationship with others as well. You may begin to carry out the frustration on them. It may even get worse that you begin to allow the flood of self-pity carry you away because you feel the world has turned it back against you.
We often fail to see and appreciate the little progress we make just because we haven't been able to see the results we need desperately. You often fail to realize that you are not in the exact position you are when you made the decision to pursue a certain goal. You fail to recognise and appreciate your progress because you have not got what you wanted, forgetting that it is those little 'baby steps' that will lead you to your big destination. You should always remind yourself of the challenges you have overcome, the lessons you have learnt and of course the little wins - instead of getting frustrated and losing hope.
Once in a while, you will think about your progress and what next you're supposed to do to move forward. It may be frequent in your mind depending on how serious the target you have set for yourself is. Well, these thoughts are not meant to break you but they are meant to make you ponder and restrategize on possible way forward. It should serve as a motivation for you to do better. It should be a time for you to access your self and not a time to murmur. It is a time to ask yourself some important questions to know if you are making the right or wrong moves.
Most of the time, there is no cause for alarm. We are only agitated to achieve our desired goals. We may be distracted by the pace and progress of people around us, whereas you should understand that everyone have their own timing. You possibly didn't start at the same time and you definitely wouldn't finish at the same time. You should not let their progress make you lose track
