Onboarding Talk
Backstory
In this post I will talk about my onboarding journey so far and future plans.
I would always try to get my friends to join hive a few joined and some even stuck around for a bit but no one really stuck with it long term.
Then the inleo team was looking to push an onboarding effort on X(formally twitter) and offered up X blue to folks that want to get in on the effort, I was never a fan of twitter but I figured this is for the chain so I got in on the action, I tried my best but it was a struggle I only managed to onboard one person but in this case it's quality over quantity.
I onboarded @bulliontools, very quickly into joining hive I realized he was a natural, not long after he joined hive we lunched the HOC ( Hive Onboarding Committee) We realized that it is not easy for people to join and find their way on hive without guidance and support and we wanted to help this amazing chain grow.
A little while after starting the HOC and slowly growing the accounts HP so that we could provide people we onboard with some upvotes, we teamed up with @thebighigg to launch DUO, the idea behind it was a way to help support the HOC effort while also provide upvotes and dividends to people that support the project, this was a few months ago and I am very satisfied with the growth of DUO and looking forward to continue delivering and growing.
The now
Yesterday a local friend started her blogging journey, it has only been a bit over a day now and I must say I am getting some @bulliontools Déjà vu 😂
@samsblog with very little guidance is finding her way on chain joining a bunch of communities and is eager about getting her blogging journey going.
I shared her fist post link in the HOC discord and many of you showed your support, this is how we grow this chain folks , I really appreciate everyone that is contributing to this effort.

The Future
I will keep trying to bring folks on, I have a buddy that has virtual hang outs with some friends that do lots of rap freestyling, apparently lots of them got into crypto recently so I will see if I can talk to them about hive and get some more folks onboarded, I will be talking about all the benefits the chain can offer them and also what it does for people around the world and also tell them about the vibes music competition with them having musical inclinations .
