Welcome to the latest DUO update for Wednesday November 20, 2024. Today we have an exciting announcement, there is a new king of the DUO investment hill! @rainbowdash4l has staked over 5,000 DUO tokens. Congratulations, that is quite an accomplishment! Additionally he also was a guest author recently which we greatly appreciate. For all of these reasons @bitcoinman , @bulliontools and myself ( @thebighigg ) will each be sending him 25 DUO tokens each from our personal stash as a thank you gift!

Now onto the today's update!

New Feature!

We are looking for guest authors! 5 DUO token and a 50% profit share on the post is up for grabs

Those who hold less than 200 staked DUO can also be considered but priority will go to those who hold 200 or more DUO .

Also, if you so choose, as a guest author, we can pay you out in DUO tokens instead of HP and HBD. It's a great way to start accumulating DUO!

Can't be on HW blacklist.
The post must be original with no plagiarism and all sources must be attributed.
AI use is not permitted, AI images are fine but must be attributed.
The post must not contain anything inappropriate.
The post can't promote any service or product.
The post must be submitted to @bitcoinman on discord and will be scheduled to be posted. @bitcoinman and the rest of the DUO team can be found in the HOC discord you can also contact the @bitcoinman on peakd chat.

There are still kinks to iron out with this new feature and we will continue to work on it as we go, so we ask you to bare with us and we are looking forward to seeing the content our stakers submit.

Important

DUO stakers are free to unstake as they please however we ask that when you do so you notify the DUO team, we set the curation up manually and letting us know keeps things fair for the other stakers.
Failure to do so will result in a 50% drop on curation on the remaining stake (Assuming its over 200 after the unstake as a reminder 200 is our minimum for curation) for a period of 1 week, there is no penalty for unstaking, only if it's done without notification to the DUO team.

#Manual curation
When the voting mana is running high (above 85%) we have created a queue of our stakers who will receive an increased manual upvote when this is happening. First you must receive a normal vote from the @duo-curator to be eligible for the boost. The boost percentage will be up to 50% of a vote. Once you receive an additional curation your name moves to the bottom of the list so that everyone has a chance to benefit from this. New stakers that buy and stake at least 200 DUO will start at the bottom of the list to be fair.
