We went to Bridlington today that is in the East Riding of Yorkshire, UK and a couple of hours car ride away. It is a seaside town we used to visit when we were children. Dark clouds were looming when we arrived.
Quite a few fishing boats were moored up in the harbour at low tide.
It's been a long time since I visited Bridlington. It's more commercial now with a fun fair near the harbour.
The herring gulls are a bit big around here. You don't mess with them.
We had a walk on the beach. Thankfully, the rain stayed away and it was quite warm. There wasn't many people about though which was quite nice.
There was a gentleman searching for lugworms on the beach for sea fishing.
It's a good job I like chips as the cafes sell chips, chips and more chips. I ended up with ..... chips and peas!
It was a nice walk down memory lane, although a lot different to what I remember.
