Hello everyone,

This is my entry for the contest in this lovely community The City of Neoxian. Find link to the contest link here

They say to err is human and as fallible beings we are each going to have those moments in life that will make us feel like hiding our shame from the world or better still teleporting to another planet if it were possible.

My purpose today is to here with you my first-hand experience of such embarrassing moment on a beautiful Sunday morning.

One a blissful Sunday, I was all prepared to make a statement to this beautiful lady whom I will call Princess. She is a beautiful young woman, who wears glamming beams of smile on her face. She had just recently moved into our branch of the church with her family. So beautiful it was hard look at her once and I must admit she has caught me on occasions stirring at her but I would only look elsewhere shying. She on occasion will smile and then immediately move onto her business.

As part of my preparation, I had rehearsed in the mirror over and over the words I was going to say when I meet her and make a few grammatical restructurings. With that agenda in mind, I was early at church on that Sunday morning; reasons being that I wanted to be the first to say hello to her on her arrival at church. I was prepared to let her know I was not only good at stirring but I could also say a word or two.

Surprisingly, she also had plans to talk to me. She wanted to know me and she was the first to make the approach, extended her arm for a handshake and then told me she notices I have been noticing her. Ah, well, it was game on for me, lol, but I was blown out of my world. Suddenly, a crowd of words begun flooding my mind that I immediately forgot what I had spent two days rehearsing, talk less of the best response to her lil accusation.

To add to my shame, I froze for about a minute and when I had attempted to open my mouth to say whatever nonsense I had left, but sadly a hiccup escaped my mouth making the loudest noise in my entire life. I felt so terrible at this time and did not know what to do next. Everything I had planned for had be ruined, I quickly said sorry for what had happened and before she could alter the next work, fled the scene with a supersonic speed feeling so embarrassed for what had happened.

Good thing time has passed and she flanky forgave me. She is one with a golden heart and still wears her beautify.

Thank you for passing through.
