Splinterlands: Exploring Marketing By Building Max DEC
Hello splinterlands lovers, how are you doing today? I would like to talk about how a player can explore through marketing.
Building Max DEC cards is not an easy job, unless a builder has the money to buy everything at once.
The good news is that one can build his/her Max DEC even if you don't have money to build everything at once. One can build his/her splinterlands Max DEC with consistency.
I have many people that started with $10, and right now, some of their cards have been Max. This is a power of consistency.
Let me give the example of a player that built his Max DEC:
Before the alpha pack was released, he planned to get bigger soon so that he can compete with warriors.
The Splinterlands game rewarded players with very good cards; there were times when a player could get 150 rewards at the end of the season. He was getting daily rewards, and the daily rewards were also much.
Through consistency, he got so many gold cards, in fact I read his post, where he was lucky to get a gold card worth $150.
Joining brawl
There was a brawl he joined, since he did not have enough cards to compete in the Guild he joined, the Guild players began to borrow him cards. As he was using those cards to play ranked battles, he was also using the cards to play Guild.
As he was using those borrowed cards to play ranked battles. He was consistently among top 10 players at the end of every season. He was winning thousands of DEC.
He was using all the money from the blog, and everything he got from the game to acquire more cards and packs. That was how he grew his splinterlands account. Today, he is playing in the championship.
Though, not all his cards are Max DEC but he achieved 70 percent of it.
It is very important to buy packs
One of the important ways to grow a splinterlands account is to buy packs. And one can earn money from playing splinterlands and blogging. From my experience, when I don't have enough money to buy packs, I borrowed the money, and added it with the money I earned in splinterlands and blogging. I got a total of $3,000, and I used the money to get more than 100 packs. After three months, I returned the loan I borrowed with interest.
Though, if a player has money somewhere he can use the money to invest.
One thing I know for sure is that, the more your investment, the more you earn.
Buying cards
There was a time I wanted to buy Living Lava, and I did not have enough money to get the card. After opened the end of the season reward, I got level 2 gold foil of Living Lava. Without wasting time, I listed the monster in the market. Within 24 hours, a player purchased it. I used the money to buy level 4 of Living Lava, and combined it together with level 1 hard.
As it wasn't enough for me, I went to the market and bought more Living Lava, and combined it together. That was how I got level 5 of Living Lava.
There are many monsters and summoners I bought with my money. But not at once, I was buying them little-by-little; and that's how I got my desirable results. One can achieve the kind of league he/she wants by constant and consistent buying of splinterlands monsters and summoners.
Therefore, “Rome was not built in a day”.
Splinterlands is a journey where you need to understand how to walk through it.
Building a Max DEC is not that easy, but with time, you can achieve 70 percent of it.
Cards are releasing everytime, and one have to buy the new cards to in order to be stronger in battles.

Battle rule
Explosive Weaponry: All units have blast (deals and additional 50% damage to units adjacent to the target rounded up).
With this kind of rule, a player has be be smart about the monsters to use. The monsters I was scared were monsters with higher speed. This is one of the battles such monsters are very effective.

The major reason I used The Kraken to make monsters with different abilities not to damage my monsters.
I knew the taunt ability of the Kraken would have made monsters with opportunity, snipe, sneak abilities to attack only the Kraken.
For example, if my opponent select a monster with opportunity, without the Kraken in my lineup, such a monster will attack Merdaali Guardian which would have disrupted my lineup.
I knew it would take long time to eliminate the Kraken due to the high number of health and armor.
The Kraken died in the second round, and that was when Venari Marksrat died twice.
Tide Biter
Splinter: Water 💧💧💧
Level: 3⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Reach and Reflection Shield
Speed: 4⚡⚡⚡⚡
Health: 4 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Armor: 2 🪖🪖
Attack: Melee
Mana: 3
With the ability of reflection shield, the explosive Weaponry could not have effect in it. Without reflection shield, it would have be eliminated in the second attack.
This reflecting shield ability was the major reason that triggered me to use it in the second position.
Tide Biter was eliminated in the second round- it has small health.
Djinn Oshannus
Splinter: Water 💧💧💧
Level: 2⭐⭐
Ability: Phase and Void
Speed: 5⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
Health: 11 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Armor: 2 🪖🪖
Attack: Magic
Mana: 8
Djinn Oshannus lead the battle after elimination of Tide Biter, and the presence of this monster was because of the health, magic, speed, phase and void abilities. Everything above Djinn Oshannus made it most qualified monster for this battle.
It led the battle to victory!
I placed Djinn Oshannus in third position because the only position Tide Biter could attack was second position. If not, I would have placed Djinn Oshannus in second position because of the void ability.
Venari Wavesmith
Splinter: Water 💧💧💧
Level: 4⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Protect
Speed: 3⚡⚡⚡
Health: 4 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Armor: 2 🪖🪖
Attack: Magic
Mana: 5
Venari Wavesmith was to give armor to all friendly monsters. The armor was to protect my monsters with small health from opportunity monsters.
The magic ability was also very important in this battle.
I don't even know that it was Venari Wavesmith until when the battle started. Venari Wavesmith should have been in the fifth position while Nerissa Tridawn should have been in the fourth position.
Unfortunately, Venari Wavesmith was eliminated in the third round.

Ability: None
Speed: 2⚡⚡
Health: 10 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Magic attack of this monster always made me to use it in battles. Nerissa Tridawn was the only monster with 4 magic attacks in this battle.
Merdaali Guardian

Ability: Tank Heal
Speed: 3⚡⚡⚡
Health: 3 ❤️❤️❤️
Armor: 2 🪖🪖
Attack: None
Mana: 3
I understood that if Kraken stay longer, there would be no chance for opponent's monsters to attack the rest of my monsters. It was cleared that after the elimination of Kraken, it was very easy to eliminate Tide Biter.
