Big congratulations to splinterlands players! I was reading on X this morning, I came across a post where splinterlands is the 2nd best card game (#play2earn) Award for 2024.
Three years ago, splinterlands was not even the third, it was around fourth or fifth. But in the year 2025, splinterlands will be the best game in the world.
This is big news, and it is impossible without the people, the owner, team members, investors and players. All contributed to the success of #splinterlands.
Splinterlands Governance Token (SP) Marketing is very crucial to improve the company. There are many companies that are not big like splinterlands but they have many customers. If 200 million people register splinterlands and start playing the game, it is not bad.
It will give more value to splinterlands Governance Token and all the assets in splinterlands.
I believe if 200 million continue to use splinterlands for different things, the value of SPS will skyrocket.

I have watched videos, and read content that made me want to know more about the products.

The company did an aggressive campaign within 3 months, and it was known throughout the whole country.

Toward the end of 2024, SPS was around $0.00943. After Donald Trump won the United state of America president, there is significant pumping of #Bitcoin which has an effect on every coin.
The rising of #BTC has made SPS to rise gradually, but the rising of SPS was not sporadic.
Presently, the price of splinterlands Governance Token is $0.0080- there was a slice decrease of the price 2 days ago, #bitcoin was around $94k . This changes affected many coins and their price also dropped.
I think that was the reason, there was a slice decrease in price of splinterlands Governance Token (SPS)
If I remember correctly, the price of SPS was very low in the month of June. Let me guess the price of SPS in June, I think the price was around 0.0035.
SPS price stood at $0.0080.
Today I wanted to trade in my binance, and I saw a post that Bitcoin is likely to crash as a result of large holders of coins are selling massively.
I believe that if Bitcoin rise, SPS will rise; and if Bitcoin drpos , SPS will also drops.
Though, there are other factors that can affect the price of SPS.
The Recent Pumping of Hive
I got a notification that hive is listed at Bitget crypto exchange on the January 7, 2024. The moment I saw the notification I knew that hive price would rice because different people would trade with HIVE. Within 48 hours, the trading volume of hive was above $1 million. Therefore, the significant pumping of hive above $0.5 this week could be link to listing of give on Bitget exchange and pumping of #btc.
This development is a huge success for hive coins; there is hope that if the trading of hive continues in all crypto exchanges, the price of hive will increase.
It is a matter of time, hive may reach $1 if #bitcoin is above $150k.

Doctor blight is one of the monsters I used most in the year 2024. This was because of its abilities- camouflage, affliction and poison. The abilities made me win some crucial battles.

The best thing that came to my mind was to use magic monsters, this was because the mana given was very small. The mana could not be enough for me to pick my best monsters.
16 mana was given in this battle!
That was the reason I decided to use Pelacor Conjurer, as the first monster with the hope of using a monster with weapon teaming ability.
Pelacor Conjurer is a monster with a 2 mana; and it has a magic reflection against magic monsters. This simply means that an attack from any magic monster results in 50% damage to the attacker's health.

Ability: Weapon Training and Divine Shield

The purpose of using Avea Sturgis was its weapon training. With the help of Aves Sturgis, Pelacor Conjurer and Chao Agent were given a magic attack; and exactly, that was the reason I used it.

I knew this monster would be useful with aves Sturgis adjacent to it. Heavy attacks from these monsters made my opponent Pelacor Conjurer to be eliminated in the first round of the battle.

The major reason I love Doctor Blight, was the abilities. I have won various battles with Doctor Blight's ability. All the ability were very critical to me:
Camouflage did not allow opponent's monsters to attack it. Camouflage makes it difficult to attack, except if the there is a scattershot rule or monsters with scattershot ability
Poison is an ability that makes the attacker lose 2 health at the beginning of each round.
The moment affliction is applied, such monsters cannot be healed.

Ability: None
Speed: 1⚡
Health: 1❤️
Armor: 1🪖
Attack: None
Mana: 0
Furious chicken is to waste time from behind, since it doesn't cost me anything to use it. If not Furious chicken, Chaos Agent would have been the first to attack by sneak monsters.
