Hello splinterlands lovers, how are you doing today? Playing splinterlands now is not easy; I don't know maybe because I did not play for 2 months. I had a winning rate of more than 80% last year; I competed with players with higher monsters and summoners: I defeated them.
Today, for 6 days, I have been playing splinterlands; and what surprised me most is that my winning rate is below 70% which is not good for me.
I don't expect my winning rate to be below 70%; seriously speaking at this moment, I would have been in the 2,000 rating.
Guess my point right now! My rating is now up to 1600 right now; though, I may play splinterlands and acquire more points in the next few hours.
I read a post before I posted my splinterlands, and I learned a lot from it. The post was about ‘’how to play splinterlands by @ciamanx. Though, the post is good resources for new players: if I saw this type of article when I started, playing splinterlands would have been very easy. I would have learned how to play the game that gets day.
I wouldn't have leave it for more than months. The first day I bought spellbook, I played 5 battles, I didn't win. That was how I left the game for months.
The day I remember the game, after months, that was the day I chatted with my friend who taught me, where to get the resource to learn the game.
That was how I started scrolling #splinterlands community on hive, and I came across the video by @clove71. I was so happy to wash the video; after I watched the video, I went straight to my splinterlands account, and I set my cads, and I won the battle.
I was very happy to win the battle- I was so happy because of my first victory.
I was motivated by my victory to play the more, and that was how I started playing splinterlands for hours.
The Power of High Speed in Summoners and Monsters
I'm always talking about monsters with higher speed; only one rule that is not support monsters and summoners with higher speed is Reverse speed. That is only a rule that monsters and summoners with higher speed is not good to use. Because the rule only allow monsters with lower speed to attack faster. Apart from that single, there is no any other rule that support monsters with lower speed to attack faster.
I'm sharing this battle because if not of the high speed summoner that I used, I might not win the battle.

Battle Rules
Even Stevens: you can only summon units with even coats.
This means that only monsters with even numbers such as 2, 4, 6, 8 can be available to use in this battle.
Checking the battle whiles selecting monsters, you will discover that all the monsters that was available for the battle were even mana monsters.
Up to Eleven: all units have amplify (increase damage of retaliate and all punishment ability-corrosuve ward, magic reflect, return fire and thorns -by 1; does not stalk).
This rule was evident when Gargoya lion attacked Djinn Chwala; despite that Gargoya lion's melee was broken to 1, when it attacked Djinn Chwala, 3 health was damaged from Gargoya lion.
Another monsters that happened to was Grund: when Grund attacked twice, 6 health was damaged from Grund.
Therefore, amplify was the main reason why 3 health was damaged from melee monsters whenever they attacked.
If it was monsters with reflect ability, those magic monsters would have been attacked too.
Summoner
Helios Matriarch
Splinter: Dragon🐉🐉🐉🐉
Level: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Conscript and +1 Speed
Health: 4❤️❤️❤️❤️
Mana: 6
Helios Matriarch is a Dragon summoner that can be used with any other monsters in splinterlands; but depends on the summoner you use.
I love to use Helios Matriarch when blast rule is given in battles. I have won several battles with this summoner.

Well! The best place for Djinn Chwala is in the first position. This is because according to the rule of the battle, it can only attack in the first position.
One of the reason I picked Djinn Chwala was the thorns ability. I knew that it would a good idea for melee monsters.
Djinn Chwala was the fourth monster to attack in this battle- all the four monsters that attacked first were my monsters. That is the advantage of high speed monsters.
Another factor was amplify: I knew that any melee monsters that attack Djinn Chwala would be brutally damaged due to amplify ability in the rule.
The third factor was the Health and armor: One of the splinterlands monsters with high number of armor. That is the reason it wouldn't be easy for melee monsters to attack the health directly.
Djinn Chwala was eliminated in the round 2 of the battle.
Quora Towershead
Splinter: Earth ♍♍♍♍♍
Level: 1⭐
Ability: Bloodlust and Heal
Speed: 4⚡⚡⚡⚡
Health: 11 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Armor: None
Attack: Melee and Magic
Mana: 10
Opportunity to use a bloodlust monsters was one of the advantages of Helios Matriarch. I was able to use Quora Towershead as a result of Helios Matriach
Bloodlust ability was the major reason I selected Quora Towershead; The more it kills, the more powerful it becomes.
Quora Towershead was able to eliminated a monster in this battle.
Wood Nymph
Splinter: Earth ♍♍♍♍♍
Level: 4⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Tank Heal
Speed: 4⚡⚡⚡
Health: 3 ❤️❤️❤️
Armor: None
Attack: Magic
Mana: 4
The important of Wood Nymph was to increase the health of the first monster. It was the reason Djinn Chwala and Quora Towershead could not be eliminated faster in this battle. If not Gibling Psychic and Wood Nymph, Quora Towershead would have be eliminated.
Halfling Alchemist
Splinter: Neutral
Level: 2⭐⭐
Ability: Halving
Speed: 4⚡⚡⚡
Health: 1 ❤️
Armor: 1🪖
Attack: Range
Mana: 2
Halfling Alchemist was to break the melee and magic attack of an opponent. It made it possible for me to destroyed opponent monsters.
Halfling Alchemist broke all the melee and magic attacks which made it not be strong against my monsters.
It broke the melee of Grunt to 1; and it could not damage more than 1 health in my lineup. If not Halfling Alchemist, by the time Grunt attacked Djinn Chwala, it would have eliminated it.
When Suidae Shaman attacked Djinn Chwala, it destroyed it. That was how hefty the attack of Suidae Shaman was- and attack damaged 9 health.
Halfling Alchemist broke it to 3; that was the reason I used it.
Gibling Psychic
Splinter: Earth♍♍♍♍
Level: 4⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Tank Heal
Speed: 2⚡⚡
Health: 4 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Armor: None
Attack: Magic
Mana: 6
Gibling Psychic was to afflict opponent monsters. Gibling Psychic was the only the afflict monster that was available from me.
I needed, a monster to stop any healing monster in my opponent monsters.
Venari Knifer
Splinter: Earth ♍♍♍♍
Level: 4⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Thorns
Speed: 6⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
Health: 10 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Armor: None
Attack: Melee
Mana: 6
I was scared of Katrelba Gobson, because I have seen how this monster have destroyed my monsters. Today, I battled with opponent that used Katrelba Gobson multiple times, that is why I have been using a monster to defend my lineup from behind.
