Desires don't seem to have an end; the acquisition of a thing is the beginning of the hunting for another thing. That is why the economists said that the human needs can't be satisfied. When all that a man needs is met to his taste, that means there is no longer a need to be alive.
Living in a well-furnished duplex has always been a dream for me; to make the dream last so long, I take a look around the internet for some samples of modern-day duplexes. The pictures of how I want my own duplex to look always come to my head. When I told this dream to my engineer, he said that this is a good dream, but he doesn't buy it because when I get advanced in age, I will not be able to access all the facilities.
Well, that's his take, because in this exotic duplex there will be provision for a lift, which will help me up, as my legs are not willing to go so high at that age. More to that, my prayers and wishes for myself are to be in shape and in good health condition even into old age. In this dream, a duplex power outage will not be a thing because my solar and generator are available to make sure I don't experience any form of power failure.
Building a duplex is that one thing that has occupied my mind for a long time now, but due to the limited resources, this dream is still under my pillow waiting for the day of manifestation. My duplex will be mainly for myself and my husband, then the kids. The only thing that will take us out will be going shopping and fellowship or even paying a visit to friends and family.
There is this kind of home that one doesn't even feel like going out because almost everything needed is in there. That's my dream, as you went through the streets of imagination with me.
