I had been voting on the Leofinance proposal for a long time, most of last year, but today someone came in my DM asked me to remove my vote. I'll call this person X, and it's someone I've known for a while and have respect for.
X claimed various reasons such as
- Their onboarding didn't produce much results for the money paid.
- Using an AI bot to boost activity
- a comparison to SPL who powered up 1.5 million hive, and leo didn't power up any (?)
- Poor KE ratios for the the founders (i.e. extracting lots of money out of the system)
- Leofinance witness had trouble a few months ago, and their reaction was very poor and dismissive (to be fair though, their witness seems to be fine now)
So I was convinced, at least temporarily, to unvote the proposal.
About 10 minutes later, Khal was in my DMs! He moves fast! To convince me to restore my vote.
I'll admit I'm a bit torn.
So I asked another friend about Leofinance and if I should vote them, and his opinion of Leo is negative as well.
His reasons were:
- don't treat older investors with respect
- don't acknowledge previous failures
- lots of people lost money in leo
- they don't produce enough results
So it does seem, at least among some people that Leofinance has a bit of a bad rep. This honestly surprises me. But you don't earn a bad rep for nothing, if two of my friends who I respect are saying bad things, there may be some truth to it.
So I'm asking you, dear reader, to vote or not vote?
