Hello beautiful people. In a chaotic world, full of all manner of satanic manipulations, where the prices of things hike up every now and then, where kids are found selling on streets, instead of sitting in the four walls of the classroom, learning and developing some skills. In a country where there are killings, kidnapping, and scarcity…where we fight amongst ourselves and kill because of hate- an inter-tribal crisis/ Religious crisis…in this era of economic degradation, where suffering is escalating in the country, men and women striving hard to provide for their families, people falling sick and are dying of low and high blood pressure…my heart wondered…, will the Prince of peace, rise to still the storms?...
Yes! He will. I was reminded of the experience of the Disciples, they were all in a boat at night, the storms raged, the sea roared, and the thunder struck, the Disciples were all afraid, they screamed out aloud, " Master, Master, don't you care that we are perishing?" and Jesus who was asleep in the boat, rose up and stilled the storm…" Peace, be still" He said ( See Mark 4:36-39).
I could describe their experience as what we are currently going through today in our country. The Storm- scarcity, sufferings, killings, kidnapping and death are screaming and roaring but see!... Jesus the Prince of peace, rises to still the storms… Peace, be still and know that He alone is God.
I write to you today to remind you that the Lord will give you Peace despite the happenings in the country, He said, " let not your heart be troubled…My peace I leave with you and my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." ( John 14 1, & 27). Peace, be still and know that He alone is God.
May the Peace of the Lord which surpasses all understanding overwhelm you and yours in such a time as this, Peace be Still.
