To begin my post, I would like to say a big thank you to @neoxian whom we know as the Big Dragon in the city of Neoxian. The truth is, the Neoxian city has been the best discord channel I have been on Hive because of the kind of way it is structured and how everyone cooperates with each other. They say united we stand, divided we fall. The Neoxian city is a definition of unity among each other.
Here is how it all started...
First thing first, the mega giveaway was hosted yesterday, 29th in the city by the great dragon, @neoxian, where he did around $2500 giveaway, and everyone went home rejoicing. Indeed, this crowns the end of the year 2024 in the city for all those who were eligible.
37 applicants were eligible for this giveaway as everyone met the requirements. I want to thank @burlarj for making it possible to join, too, because he loaned me 1.1 neox.
The giveaway started at exactly 5 pm, and this would be the third giveaway; this was to celebrate Bitcoin reaching an ATH of $100,000. According to Mr D, the first mega giveaway was done three years ago when Bitcoin was at $10k and now imagine it getting to $100k and such a mega giveaway was done. I was so lucky to be part, I must say.
Before the giveaway started, many of us teamed up because we all wanted to get something at the end of the day. Mr Dragon hosted 11 Giveaways, one, with 50 HBD, a splinterland card, lassecash, each worth $40 and others with 40 HBD each to all winners; then we got to the juicy part, which was the grand giveaway to wrap it up. This was where the unity popped up.
For the grand giveaway, a winner would be getting 2000 HBD. But @burlarj came up with an idea so everyone who applied for the mega giveaway would receive something sweet, and we would all be happy. The power of unity in the city, and there was no one planning on becoming greedy and taking the whole $2000. We all cooperated on what we were meant to do, and that was indeed a great one.
At the end of it all, everything was shared equally, including the one from my team, I got a total of 80 HBD which is $80. I was so excited and also lucky. Thanks to Burl for helping me too because he loaned me one of the requirements, otherwise, I might have to cry into the new year 😄😄
This year, I enjoyed my time in the Neoxian city, and I would keep saying that I'm proud to be a member in a city hosted by @neoxian and his generosity all through the year has been super amazing. I love how he had every member in his heart and how he compensated everyone. He is a true and great leader, and I pray God crowns his efforts with greater success. Thank you so much, Mr Dragon. You put smiles on everyone's faces and we are deeply grateful for such a kind heart towards us.
To my team Omega, I say thank you to us all. I wish us a wonderful year in 2025. To all Neoxian city members, you made the year 2024 amazing; the laughs, the conversations, the lessons, the updates, the giveaways, the supports etc, I really appreciate you. You are one great family on Hive that I am happy to be part of. May God lead us to a higher height.
