If there is something I have ever wanted more in my life than to live in good health and logitivity of life, it is to make as much money I can make and say goodbye to this beautiful yet ugly country for many reasons ...

First and foremost, I am happy that this month's edition of the neoxian city prompt is based on the views and perspectives we have of our country and some certain decisions we would likely make if we had the opportunity of it...

If there is one thing my country is well known for both far and near, then it is the ability to make life a living hell for its citizens, out of all the leaders we have over here only few of them truly cares about our well being but the majority of them just wants to use us for their own selfish desire and benefits and at the end of the day we get dumped like a piece of trash...

20221024_142949_0000.png

They only treat us as God only when it's time for election but when they get into power, we return back to our normal position as just a normal civilian, our cries becomes deaf to their ears, our protest goes into a deep well of no feedback, it is just so annoying to see how we are being treated like slaves in our own country...

In as much as our system of government is messed up, I am still very proud of our people, I am saying this as both a citizen and also part of the majority, most of our people have learnt their lessons the hard way and only few of them are still stuck up in the past and I hope they find their way soon before it's too late...

Are you looking for self employed women and men?, come to my country and you will find them all here in large numbers, are you looking for both skilful and talented men and women?, come to my country and you will see them all in one package...

We have many skilful and talented people in our country but guess what?, there is no human capital development from our governments...

Our country has pushed many of us into depending on our power and strong will to SURVIVE...

To have a chance to better life in this country, you need to be very hard working, courageous, dedicated and strong or else you will end up being something you don't want most importantly you need influence, power and most importantly God...

20221024_142949_0000.png

There are times where I just sit by myself crying to God for his divine intervention because men are suffering and going through a lot because of our messed up system...

A very good example is the recent happening, the issue of the redesigning of cash...

This is the era where we have to take charge of our lives and not depend on our governments to have a better life...

THINGS I AM PROUD OF ABOUT MY COUNTRY....

To be honest I have lots of things I am proud of about my country but as we all know this country is ruled and owned by the ones with power and influence...

Without all these, one is just a pawn in their games and also in their strife for more power...

Here are the few things I am proud of in my country;

  • AGRICULTURE.
  • ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY.

20221024_142949_0000.png

Thinking so deep about the things I am proud of about my country and all I could think of is just these two points, this is for you to know the extent of how well we are doing in this country(in the opposite direction though)...

We have a lot of farmers in this country and thanks to this fact, we have more hands to cultivate crops and plants for us to live off for many years to come...

Majority of our grandparents are farmers and that means more food production for the mass and under this we have livestock farming, this is also a very beautiful aspect of my country, we have lots of people who are into live stock farming and thanks to them the country have enough fish and meat to live on...

We are currently doing partially well when it comes to stable power supply, atleast we have light at most 12 hours a day on special occasions lol, it is good for a start...

These are just the few things I think I am proud of regarding my country...

Moving further, I don't think my country has all it takes to develop me as a person because for that to happen, we will have to change the men in power and that is not possible in this era...

I WOULD LEAVE TO ANOTHER COUNTRY...

This is indeed one the most common interest I and my fellow Nigerians share, If i could leave to another country, I would leave without thinking twice and that too with many reasons...

       WHY?

There is nothing like human capital development in this country, that is to say talents and skills are going to waste on daily basis just because our country(government) refuse to invest in the skills and talent we posses individually which could make us a very useful and important asset to our country when invested on in the long run...

I am not leaving because of hardships and tribulations, I am leaving because our government doesn't care about our well being, potentials and our capabilities and that is why we have so many nigerians on the other side doing well because some people saw great potentials in them and decided to invest in them and now they have changed their nationality which is the ideal thing to do...

In conclusion, I have one million and one reasons why I would leave this country at the drop of an hat but I will stop here for now...

Thank you for the support bro

Thank you for your storie! 🙏

You highlighted the cons very clearly and it is good to see some pros as well like the agricultural secor and electricity. As the youth is the majority of the country, I understand your frustration that their is no investment in human capital which would definitely boost the economy.

Indeed and I hope they do us wright before we start vacating the country..
Thanks

Sorry to hear about your corrupt government mishandling the country.

Agriculture is one of the biggest contributors to our GDP as well. You definitely got some of the most talented people there but sadly many of them are going to waste. Wish you all the luck in your future endeavours.

I'm surprised you mentioned electricity as something to be proud about your country, as the reverse is the case in my area.

Yes, we have great talents who have been frustrated to other countries and are doing really well for themselves over there. Nigeria which way?

Yes my electricity is sure here lol, 12 hours at most and 6-8 hours at least...

Light dey as I dey follow you chat lol

Aren't you always lucky😃

We have bright future. We hope that things will go well for us in our country. I love your entry, it is educative.

Thank you for stopping by and checking on my post

First of all i was captured by the fact that you wrote a thousand words text on the dot and it seems you planned and calculated your steps.😄

Well, you aren't the first nigerian who have wished not being a nigerian or perhaps wasn't born into the country at all but guess what, there are some countries way worse than where you are now and they are other countries that are far better.

This is due to the people we choose as our rulers. They care-less about the people and focus on their selfish interests like you have already mentioned.

But if we all run away who are we leaving the country for? This is one question i always ask myself because you can't run out and abandon your own house because of the people inside it, instead they should park and leave my house for peace to reign. There is alot to say here but i will reserve the strength for my own entry.😂

Heheh indeed thanks for stopping by..

Agriculture is one of the things I am also proud of about our country Nigeria unfortunately, the Fulani's heads men slaughtered lots of commercial farmers in the north thereby causing high cost of food stuffs currently.

Nigerians got talented people, people who does not depend for their selfish government to care for them and I admire most Nigerians for such courage.

Human capital development by the government is a nice project but it's unfortunate the country doesn't encourage her masses with that.

Searching for a greener pastures is the desire of many. It's my desire that our country get revived at least for the upcoming generation.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this

The truth is that our governments do not yet recognize and appreciate everyone´s skills and talents here. At least there are countries who are looking for those who are skilful and seeing this, they value and would pay hugely for it. This is why many Nigerians are leaving this country to where they would be welcomed, appreciated and valued, unlike this country where the bad leaders are only after their well-being, neglecting the citizens.

I am planning on leaving this country too because there aren´t enough resources and equipment to equip us more on what we are passionate about. Why won´t I go to where there are real and perfect human capital resources?

Hmmmmm wise word, I Wil surely go to a country where there is human capital investments, I have too much in me to lost away dear... Thanks for stopping by my dear...

You are welcome

It's like I will come and be living in your area. You have the electricity I am looking for. 12 hours everyday? I have like 0 hours everyday.

As for our government, the matter is in that hand of the Lord. You see the way they are all begging for our votes now? Na we go dey beg for our rights later.

Well done with the response, man.

Thanks bro
