WOWOW, half a year has passed, and now we are in the second half of 2024. Unfortunately, these past six months, I have not been as active in Hive as I should be or as I aimed to be at the end of 2023. The same goes for Neoxian City, but I have still tried my best to keep up with the events happening in the city and fulfill my duties there. One of my responsibilities is counting each and every DOOT availed by the citizens from Mr. D. Apart from DOOT, there is a lot more going on in the city. We have many fast chatters, and as a slow chatter, I love to read their messages in my free time.
Events like city games and city prompts took place in June as well. We really enjoyed playing the city game “Who Am I,” which sometimes turns into a funny game. After all, we often miss many of the talks and secrets of citizens in the city, and through this game, we come to know many secrets and hidden talks. Additionally, it is a great chance for citizens to win city tokens (Neoxags) by guessing the right name. This game is amazing, and I hope we have more city games weekly.
Another event is the City Prompt, and I am so glad that I took part in it and was one of the winners. It involved writing a story about a stranger who did something good for you, and through this topic, I got the opportunity to share one of my stories. These prompts surely make us think of something great to write about.
Just as every other country or city has rules and regulations, our city also has proper rules and regulations to follow for our own good. I think I should share some of these rules in my monthly post so that people who are willing to join our city and community can better understand them. Believe me, it is nothing out of this world or something unusual; all the rules are basic and very easy to follow.
Let me start by sharing one of the rules which I believe is most important: our official language is English. However, people from all over the world are welcome to join our city, but you need to use a translator or have basic communication skills in English. I think this rule is simple because it ensures that everyone can understand the chat and responses. It’s not necessary to be grammatically perfect, but we cannot use slang that might be misunderstood by others. The first channel in the General group of Neoxian City’s Discord is for rules, where a person can easily read the dos and don'ts of the city. I will share more rules in my next monthly post.
