I just saw this on YouTube, along with my wife, Linkin Park's new album and I really liked the new songs made now with the new vocalist Emily Armstrong. Showing that the LP is not dead and with sensational beats and lyrics as usual, I was impressed with this comeback of the band. And on this point, I would like to share a little insight I have into everything that happened, because we know that there was some fear on the part of the fans regarding Emily, but is this judgment fair?
I believe that life is made up of many battles, struggles that we have daily in search of realizing a dream or achieving a goal. So, imagine that Mike Shinoda, after Chester's death, despite all the sadness and the moment of mourning and pain we feel when we lose someone, I should also be thinking a lot about things like: is this the end of LP? Should I continue with LP? There is that feeling that we have to respect the past and I agree with that, but we are still alive and the future? Would it really be disrespectful to continue with the band and bring in a new person to sing?
I think the thought should be as follows: what happened, being done with Chester, is not a mere chapter in the lives of the band members and fans, it wasn't just a quick passage or one of those that we'll forget happened or the name of the artist who was there, he really wrote a story with the LP, a closed book, with a beginning, middle and end. This is the way we should view everything Chester did on the LP, so he is not being replaced but rather glorified for these years of work and music.
Emily came to write a new book and not a next chapter in the history of Linkin Park, being as professional as possible. I see that Mike and she never thought of this new phase as a phase of replacement, but rather of respect for Chester. Volume 1 of the LP was written by Chester and now, volume 2 will continue the legacy of great songs and lots of crazy stuff that has always been the LP's trademark. Emily is an incredible person who came to add to and create new and intense stories with Linkin Park and its passionate fans, who, like me, were dying of longing for Linkin Park.

Acabei de ver no YouTube, junto da minha esposa, o álbum novo do Linkin Park e gostei bastante das novas músicas feitas agora com a nova vocalista Emily Armstrong. Mostrando que o LP não está morto e com batidas e letras sensacionais como de costume, eu fiquei impressionado com essa volta por cima da banda. E sobre esse ponto, gostaria de compartilhar uma pequena visão que tenho sobre tudo isso que aconteceu, pois sabemos que houve um certo receio por parte dos fãs com a Emily, mas será que é justo esse julgamento?
Acredito que a vida é feita de muitas batalhas, lutas que temos diariamente em busca de realizar um sonho ou conquistar um objetivo. Então, imagine que o Mike Shinoda, depois da morte do Chester, apesar de toda a tristeza e o momento de luto e dor que temos quando perdemos alguém, também deveria estar pensando muito sobre coisas do tipo: é o fim do LP? Devo continuar com o LP? Fica aquela sensação de que temos que respeitar o passado e isso concordo, mas ainda estamos vivos e o futuro? Seria mesmo um desrespeito continuar com a banda e colocar uma nova pessoa para cantar?
Acho que o pensamento deve ser da seguinte forma: o que aconteceu, sendo feito com Chester, não é um mero capítulo na vida dos integrantes da banda e dos fãs, não foi apenas uma passagem rápida ou daquelas que esqueceremos que aconteceu ou do nome do artista que ali estava, ele escreveu realmente uma história com o LP, um livro fechado, com começo, meio e fim. Essa é a maneira como devemos ver tudo o que Chester fez no LP, sendo assim, ele não está sendo substituído e sim glorificado por estes anos de trabalho e músicas.
Emily chegou para escrever um novo livro e não um próximo capítulo da história do Linkin Park, sendo o mais profissional possível. Vejo que Mike e ela nunca pensaram nessa nova fase como uma fase de substituição e sim de respeito por Chester. O volume 1 do LP foi escrito por Chester e agora, o volume 2 continuará com o legado de ótimas músicas e muitas loucuras que sempre foi a marca registrada do LP. Emily é uma pessoa incrível que veio para somar e criar novas e intensas histórias com o Linkin Park e com seus fãs apaixonados, que, assim como eu, estavam morrendo de saudade do Linkin Park.
