What are these floating Humanoid/Jellyfish Like UAPs?

We are living in crazy times!

I grew up watching The Twilight Zone, X-Files, Unsolved Mysteries, and that hoaxed Alien Autopsy film that aired back in the 90s. I frequently checked out library books about UFOs, The Bermuda Triangle, Mothman, and other paranormal topics. I was fascinated by these things. I still remember as a kid having to take the trash out at night (because I neglected to do it when I was supposed to during the day) and looking up at the sky thinking that, at any second, a UFO could drop out of the sky and carry me off. Despite trying to fight the urge to be fearful, my pace would always quicken to a run as I raced to get back into the house.

Alternatively, I also watched a lot of science and nature documentaries. I’ve always been a pretty logical thinker, even as a little kid. I think that is why I have always enjoyed science so much and went on to become a science teacher as an adult. It is probably also why I have always enjoyed mysterious and paranormal topics; it gives me an escape from mundane, straightforward thinking as I try to rationalize the irrational. Like Fox Mulder in one of my childhood favorite shows, I want to believe; but it will take evidence to convince me. And, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. For that reason, I have always been generally skeptical when it comes to the paranormal. Fast forward to 2021, and the government started releasing official videos of what they are now calling Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs).

Since then, there have been several other events that some might refer to as a soft disclosure from US government officials. There have been whistleblowers and even senate subcommittee meetings. Now, even through all of this, there still has not been an official statement about what these things are, where they come from, or what they are doing; but just the simple acknowledgement that they exist is a huge deal!

The Jellyfish

The most recent UAP video to drop has been labeled “The Jellyfish” because the thing kind of resembles a jellyfish with its tentacles dangling. It was apparently leaked by a government official to a UFO investigator named Jeremy Corbell. Corbel was also involved in the release of the “Tic Tac” video taken aboard the USS Nimitz that I mentioned earlier, and he seems to be a paramount figure in this soft disclosure narrative.

But, this “Jellyfish” video is unlike anything that has been released before. Instead of the usual “flying saucer”, triangle, or even “tic tac” shaped craft, it seems to depict a morphology vastly different than anything else reported. See for yourself:

This appears to be actual government surveillance footage from a military base in Iraq. While it has only now been leaked to the public, it was filmed in 2018. It was taken using a technology called a Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) camera. You may have seen them used on such shows as Ghost Hunters or Finding Bigfoot. They specialize in generating an image based on heat signatures. In the above “Jellyfish” video, you’ll notice that the craft seems to be changing colors from bright white to darker colors. On a FLIR video, this would generally indicate a change in temperature. But if that is the case, then this thing is making some wild temperature changes and doing it quickly!

But what caught my eye was the way that it moved… or rather didn’t move. It just seemed to be floating across the sky unaffected by anything; including the wind. It reminded me of something, but it took a couple of days for me to figure out what. Then, it dawned on me!

The Monterrey Flying Witch

The “Monterrey Flying Witch” video was captured in Mexico in 2006. Of course, it is everything you would expect from a video depicting a paranormal phenomenon: blurry, over-saturated, too far zoomed in, shaky. The exact opposite of the “Jellyfish UAP” footage. I remember thinking when it first came out that it was most definitely a hoax. However, the movement of the Monterrey Flying Witch - and to an extent the shape - match up with this new video in my opinion. Look at how the thing in the “Monterrey Flying Witch” video slowly and effortlessly floats along; completely unaffected by the wind. And I can imagine that seeing the “Jellyfish UAP” from the side might yield a shape similar to the one in the “Monterrey Witch” video. It makes me wonder if we were seeing a similar object back in 2006.

Frankly, I am surprised that I haven’t seen others bring up the similarities. I don’t know; maybe I’m just crazy. But, I’d love to hear what all of you think about the whole thing.

Sort:

TMZ just put out a 3 part series the UFO Revolution. I've never been a fan of TMZ but this was pretty good. Shows many of the current UAPs and the push to get the gov't to acknowledge.

You know what they say...."I am not saying it's aliens, but it's aliens" :D
