I believe this is a common practice in Europe as well. I know hundred of cases among medicine students here in Eastern-Europe, sleeping with the bones in the student dorm, and even bringing them to a party in few cases...

Most in my family are doctors, and when my sister was at the university, we bought her also a full skeleton. It was a lady, and we called her Sissi.

She was bones skinny...would not as was also old, estimated 60 at times of passing.

They are getting harder to find. In the old days each medical student had their own skeleton to study off of!
