Two days ago Neoxian City Minetest server was upgraded to Mineclone 2 and its been a fun ride so far. Minetest was a fun till a certain level and as we minetesters got more and more proficient, it lately stared becoming a bit monotonous. The mods/options were limited, nether relm was not that great and after getting access so Nether armor Minetest wasn't challenging enough. To spice things up Arena battles and complex puzzles were introduced(which served their purpose), but in the end it wasn't good enough.
So The Great Dragon aka @neoxian, made the timely call to up the ante and shift to Mineclone 2. Mineclone 2 is light years ahead with tons of features, items and challenges. The graphics are far better, them items variety is huge contributing to a versatile metaverse experience and survival is way more challenging due to plenty of bad ass monsters. There is so much to explore in this world with a lot of variables that I think it would take us minetesters quite some time and effort to reach a certain mastery level.
One thing that is needed to be mentioned that Arena fights were carefully and rightfully introduced at the latter stages in Minetest to help us master the fighting skills much needed to survive in Mineclone world. Now we can feel the build up and see how Neo sir actually planned all of this for us. Without Minetest combat training, Mineclone 2 would have been impossible for many of us.
So we(the village people) have made western plains our bastion for now. Me and many others are for now going with rudimentary housing structure that is enough to ensure our survival. I am sure as we advance down the line, discovering more advanced items along with honing our survival skills; more and more complex constructions are going to emerge. Like always Neo sir and Pravesh are already way ahead from the rest of the lot...I guess some people are built for this sort of the stuff.

For now my focus is on mining to find raw minerals like Iron Ore, Gold and Diamonds etc. which will help providing huge boost to my personal useables like body armor, weapons and tools. Once I am trough with these items, I can worry less on survival and focus more on development. As of now I have already made myself a steel body armor and next step is having more deadly weapons.
That will be all for today. I will keep updating you guys about my Mineclone 2 journey as I progress. Moreover you guys are always welcome to join us in our city Minetest server. All you need to do install Minetest and add into it Mineclone 2 update, then connect to Neoxiancity server via 178.62.112.50 on port 30000.
