We’ve been having warm days here in Germany lately, so I’ve been going out for bike rides. In a few days, the temperature is expected to start dropping, so I’m trying to make the most of the last bit of warmth on my bike.
Let me share some of the beautiful scenery I came across during one of these rides.
The city where I live, Leipzig, is located in the eastern part of Germany and has rivers running through it. The riverside scenery is especially lovely, particularly now, in the golden German autumn.
I noticed some people enjoying motorboat tours since the boating season will soon be coming to an end.
On this day, I took a longer trip and stopped by a community garden to check on the container plants. The black kale and soup celery were growing nicely, so I harvested a bit. I love cycling with fresh greenery tucked in my backpack!
On the way back, I passed through the city center. It was lively with the weekly market happening.
After pumping air into my tires and snapping a quick photo of my minimalist favorite bike, I enjoyed a satisfying 12-kilometer ride. It was a perfect day!

ドイツでは暖かい日が続いていて、このところ自転車で出かけています。数日すると徐々に気温が下がり始めるようで、残り少ない暖かい日にサイクリングを楽しもうとしています。
サイクリングがてらキャッチしたきれいな景色をぜひ。私が住んでいるドイツの東部の街、ライプツィヒは市内に川が流れていて、河辺の風景がとても美しいのです。今はまさに、黄金色のドイツの秋。
ボートのシーズンももう直ぐ終わりで、モーターボートのツアーを楽しんでいる人たちも見かけました。
ちょっと遠出をしたこの日は、コミュニティガーデンのコンテナの様子も見てきました。黒ケールとスープセロリがよく育っていたので少しいただいてきました。緑をわさわささせながら自転車に乗るのが好きです。
帰り道に街中をのぞくと、マーケットで盛り上がっていました。
お気に入りのミニマルな自転車に空気を入れて、久しぶりに自転車の写真を撮ってあげて、12キロほどのサイクリングを楽しんで大満足の一日になりました。
