Hello fellow cyclists, the month of June is one of the liveliest months in Brazil, when the June festivals are celebrated, a period of lots of dancing, revelry and typical food. To celebrate this special moment, cyclists in the region organized the June bicycle, an event to celebrate the arrival of this special month.
The event took place with the participation of more than 60 cyclists, there were 4 different categories: young people between 15 and 18 years old, men, women and a last category with elderly people. The prize will be a June basket and there will be a celebration organized with everyone's contribution. Each cyclist contributed R$50.00 and an amount was raised thanks to the help and donations from people in the region.
During the afternoon, competitions full of steam, adrenaline, emotion, anxiety and desire to win, each warrior will overcome their limits to gain access to the grand prize. At the end of the cycling stages, the big party begins, all free, including a local forró band: Banda Serra foot forró.
The June period consists of 3 celebrations: the feast of Saint Anthony and Valentine's Day, the feast of Saint John and the feast of Saint Peter. The festivities last around 15 days, it is a period of flags, diversity of colors, entertainment, forró, firecrackers, corn meals and now, we have converted this date into a moment dedicated to cycling throughout the region.
We tried to set up a giant corn for the champion to take photos with the million, but it didn't work, we couldn't make it in time. Anyway, with party or not, cycling is a time of fun.

Olá colegas ciclistas, o mês de junho é um dos meses mais animados do Brasil, quando são comemoradas as festas juninas, período de muita dança, folia e comidas típicas. Para celebrar esse momento especial, os ciclistas da região organizaram a Bicicleta junina, evento para comemorar a chegada deste mês especial.
O evento aconteceu com a participação de mais de 60 ciclistas, foram 4 categorias diferentes: jovens entre 15 e 18 anos, homens, mulheres e uma última categoria com idosos. O prêmio será uma cesta junina e haverá uma comemoração organizada com a contribuição de todos. Cada ciclista contribuiu com R$ 50,00 e um valor foi arrecadado graças à ajuda e doações de pessoas da região.
Durante a tarde, competições cheias de força, adrenalina, emoção, ansiedade e vontade de vencer, cada guerreiro superará seus limites para ter acesso ao grande prêmio. Ao final das etapas do ciclismo, começa a grande festa, toda gratuita, com direito a uma banda de forró local: Banda Forró pé de serra.
O período junino é composto por 3 celebrações: a festa de Santo Antônio e Dia dos Namorados, a festa de São João e a festa de São Pedro. As festividades duram em torno de 15 dias, é um período de bandeiras, diversidade de cores, animação, forró, fogos de artifício, fubá e agora convertemos esta data em um momento dedicado ao ciclismo por toda a região.
Tentamos montar um milho gigante para o campeão tirar fotos com o milhão, mas não deu certo, não conseguimos confeccionar a tempo. Enfim, com festa ou não, pedalar é um momento de diversão.
