Learning to ride a bicycle, one of the dreams of most children, in fact for those my age (34 years) having a bicycle was a desire that was not always very easy due to the financial difficulties of the time, but I was always a worker so as a child I sold popsicle and saved my own money little by little and around the age of 12 I got my first white Ceci, in which I learned to ride first with wheels and then I ventured down my dead-end street.

In the region where I lived there was the Ceci Streetcar, everyone had a Ceci and we went out twice a week for a night ride with around 20 kids enjoying the night on a bike ride.

I lived in a quiet neighborhood where I spent my entire childhood and youth riding my bike. Soon after reaching the age of majority, my father began to become interested in mountain biking, bought some parts, assembled a bike and began to enjoy racing even at an older age and asked me to start accompanying him in some races.

I participated with my father in several races in the interior of Minas Gerais, extremely difficult races lasting approximately 2 hours, full of adventure and adrenaline in the forests, caves and hills, but with immense satisfaction upon completing the journey. Furthermore, we were able to discover and enjoy a lot of the natural landscape and the beauty of nature.

Many adventures, blood sweat and fun, I left with scars and many good memories.

Unfortunately, I haven't participated in races for approximately 10 years, I just ride my bike for leisure these days, but I intend to go back, I really miss the adventure.

Sort:

I knew it's something you must have missed so much. You have been in it and now you must miss it in full.

Competing with you dad was truly fun, I guess...

Yes, I miss it a lot, besides the adventures, it was a family connection and the races.

What a great bicycling story! I am looking forward that I will also have the means to replace the worn out parts of my bike that are in stock for six years already. Keep safe!🤩♥️🤙

Thanks friend, I hope you replace it and get back into action, Hugs!

Maybe after six months or a year. Really need that thing to be fixed!🤩♥️🤙
