Cycling around the Huairou Reservoir

in #hive-1777453 months ago

Greetings my dear Hive fellows.

After almost two weeks, I completed another cycling session this Saturday. And now the extreme summer has finally arrived in Beijing and the temperature has increased more than 35 degrees centigrade. And often the wind is very hot from morning until night. Also, the sun is so hot around the city but my living area is very far from the city and the temperature is a bit comfortable so many forests are in this area. However, the weather was not so great for a bike trip but I love it as the temperature in Bangladesh is much more uncomfortable in my home country Bangladesh, so I am used to such weather and I have seen many cyclists cycling around this period here in my area.

I have seen some cyclists cycling at the very noon this summer. But I started my journey in the late afternoon to save my ass in this hot weather. say no to the open roads and fresh air was too hard. Around 4:45 pm, I got my cycle ready and filled up my water bottles. The reason I picked this time of day was to avoid the hottest part of the day. As I crossed my dormitory area, nature gave way to a stunning view of green trees by the roadside area with green leaves everywhere I looked. Some areas of the roads were so comfortable with the shadows by the roadside trees.

It was around 35 degrees Celsius outside at this time but the afternoon wind was much stronger today which makes the ride a bit more comfortable. Also, the strong wind makes it more difficult to maintain a good speed in today's riding. Also, some parts of my riding session were full of high altitudes that made the ride more tiring and it decreased my overall riding average speed. It is also true that the strong wind in the high-altitude area made the ride pleasant.

I have seen many people were catching fish in a part of the lake and I am planning to come here for fishing in my next fishing day.

Today was a cloudy day and the sun was hiding behind the clouds and that was a comfortable situation for me during the whole cycling session.

I found a beautiful bridge right after crossing the water canal. The views from both sides were so stunning that I stopped and took a break there to look around. Several pictures were taken here.

Today my location was the Huairou Reservoir which is not so big as the Miyun water reservoir about I have written some blogs already, but this one is also a beauty in the Hurirou city center. It is very close to the city area of Huairou city and there are several; residential areas by the lake I heard that these apartments are the most expensive ones in Huairou city. The area is around 10 km from my institute, so the total distance of my cycling was today a little bit more than 22 km today.

There was the concrete lakeshore bank by the road and I saw many people catching fish from the concrete damn. Bicycles and other two-wheeled vehicles are the only ones who can go through this road from where I can explore the lake perfectly.

I have spent some of my time cycling in this part and there I could see the mountain ranges. But there weather was not so clear today and you can see the pictures are today missing the blue sky.

And such weather has another ghostly beauty for the lake and the mountains. I have a lot more to explore here on the opposite side of the lake, which I will talk about in my future blog post.

I left after more than half an hour and began my ride back to my institute. I was also really tired because the road was too high at times, like climbing mountains. In conclusion, the trip was pleasant because one.

I hope you like my cycling session to such a fantastic place with great exploration. It was amazing to have such a cycling session to a fantastic place like this, with the discovery of natural beauty to enjoy and lose myself away from my busy life! If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
Wish you a great day!

@tanzil2024 !
Dear Hassan!
I estimated that it took you over an hour to reach Huairou Reservoir.😃
I wonder if it rains in Beijing in the summer.
It's currently the rainy season where I live, so it rains a lot!

I thought rich Chinese people lived in the Hurirou city!
I am curious about the areas where poor people in China live.
The Chinese want to show foreigners like you and me only the prosperous people of China.

I think most people in the world are poor. I believe that only by meeting poor people can you see the truth of the world!
I wonder if you can meet China's poor people!

I enjoy to join to your nice trip!

Don no batt!

It is also rainy season here and today it is raining from the morning.

I am from Bangladesh with a poverty rate of around 42%, so don't know what poor people mean? I think the overall salary in Beijing is high enough to remove them from poverty, so I can't help you find poor people in big cities like Beijing or China. I have met a bigger only once in China in Beijing city.

But when I go back to Bangladesh, that is a ocean of poor people everywhere!

Dear Hassan!
In the world I live in, there are far more poor people than rich people.
30 percent of the population is poor!
They receive food, clothing and shelter support from the government.
I wonder if the Bangladesh government can provide food, clothing and shelter to the poor!

I remember that poor people live in rural areas outside of China's big cities. I wonder if you can go to rural areas in China!

But when I go back to Bangladesh, that is a ocean of poor people everywhere!

Yeah, I agree with you!
But, In the East Asian world, including China, poor people live in the countryside outside of big cities.
I saw a video showing a lot of poor people living in big cities in Bangladesh.

I wonder if the Bangladesh government can provide food, clothing and shelter to the poor!

Our government doesn't support the poor, actually they can't. Only they sell some commodities at low prices for the poor community.

Yeah, you can find poor people everywhere, and due to our religious beliefs, people donate money and daily necessities to the poor people always. Besides many orphanages, and old homes, you can find many restaurants, Charity organizations, and personal individuals who are always trying to help the poor.

Besides, we Muslims must donate 2.5% of our assets to poor people every year. So, these funds help them a lot. But still, it is very challenging for poor people to get the education and proper treatment in our country. We have very cheap treatment in public hospitals but not free like in many countries.

Our government doesn't support the poor, actually they can't. Only they sell some commodities at low prices for the poor community.

Yeah, Hassan! I understand!
There are many poor people in Japan and Korea as well. But, They differ from Bangladesh in that they receive state support and welfare benefits.

貧不足羞, Poverty is not something to be ashamed of.
可羞是貧而無志 However, it is shameful to have no will to escape poverty.

I originally come from a poor family.😄
