It's was 2020, the pandemic Year. COVID-19 had mopped dry all the people from the road. The streets and roads were empty. No movement, no business,no cars except a few private cars and it was general stay at home.

You could tell how devastating it can be to be confined in your house all day, except you are just the introvert type.
My brothers would always go out to the field to play ball with friends, while th girls will be sticker in the kitchen and Bedroom....

When the Boredom nearly strangled me, I decided to adventure. There's this old sport bike that was abandoned by my brother the backyard. He wasn't interested anymore and decided selling it of but he didn't.
The bike's gear, brake and seat had issues. But one can still ride it.

I told him to help teach me ride a bike, and after so much persuasion he yielded. He would always hold to help me find balance then cycle by my self.
After a week I was able to hop and cycle by myself but remember no breaks and gears.

I would literally be cycled by the bike to wherever it takes me to. We would fall on the sand, inside the bush and anywhere the was no more control. I fell countless times because I couldn't control the bike. I was always very nervous or scared as I would be wiggling with the bike.

The empty street was my training center. Recall that we have no gears and breaks, so whenever I sight an incoming car or observe that i would run into the Bush, I would just jump of the bike to avoid getting bruised and having a scar😂😂💔💔💔. It's totally crazy to ride a bike with so much machine failures

My girlfriend cycles so well and she could put her hands up while cycling and she will still maintain steadiness. It has been a very beautiful adventure tho, at least I no how to cycle as a lady ☺️☺️☺️☺️. Practice the say makes perfect and as I continue to practice, I'll be more efficient with it.

Asides the Fun it's a great exercise for the whole body as it boosts the Musculoskeletal system .
In my Next Article I would love to highlight the goodness of cycling to the body.
