Am I too big to ride a bicycle?
It is now more than two weeks since I learned how to ride a bicycle. Seriously, I am now getting addicted to it and I know myself.I am pleased that I eventually know how to ride very well. Something's happened recently to me that I had to start asking myself what was going on. To some of you it might look funny, but to me, I was very unhappy.
It was a Monday morning and my kids were already set for school and as the custom is, it is their mummy that normally takes them to school, what about me? Let me be straight here, I don't like taking them to school and nothing is attached to it, I just don't like it. Maybe I will say that it's our nature. To cut the stories short, my wife eventually took them to school, which is the normal custom.After a few hours, I got a call from my kids' school, and I was told my children did not bring their food to school. I was very unhappy, so I decided to go give them their food this time because I knew my must-have been very tired of the whole thing.my children school is not too far from home.
With the curiosity, I said to myself I have to ride to my children's school, normally I don't see anything wrong with the riding, I carried their food bag with me then rode it to their school, I noticed that was even their teacher who was making guest of me, although they don't know I'm overhead then saying, “this man is not even ashamed of himself" and at first, I wanted to react, but I just have to behave myself, I was not happy concerning what they are saying about. I started wondering if it is wrong for a grown up man like me to ride.
Here are my questions: is it really wrong, or is it not wrong? This was what I was saying to myself while I was leaving my children's school.Now I told myself that I have to write about it here in this wonderful community to see and read people's opinions.I am already happy that I can ride, but I should be able to go anywhere of my choice and why all the discrimination, seriously, it is not funny at all to me.
I am still confused, and I want to know why. Is it that they are expecting a car? I don't even have a car yet.
There are some levels of mindset we need to start wiping off from our mind.I am not ashamed to ride a bicycle , so why will that be a problem to them in the first place?all I just discovered is that people don't like facing their business most times and it is really crazy knowing that
