Hey beautiful readers, as you probably all know, today is Eid. Eid is not just about one day or two; in fact, it is a three-day celebration. My first two days of Eid were insanely busy serving guests and exchanging gifts. Now, finally, it is time to share my whole day with you all.
Eddi ( Money as an Eid Gift)
the day started, the male members of the family went for Eid prayer, while there I was, peacefully sleeping and dreaming about the bunch of Eidi I would get this Eid 😂. I woke up late around 10 am and rushed to my father for Eidi, but guess what he said?
“ No, Alisha, first get ready properly, then I’ll give you Eidi.”
This statement broke my heart as always 😂 because in our family, those who don’t get ready don’t get Eidi at all. So, hurriedly, I changed into my beautiful “Jora” dress, put on my makeup, curl my hairs and got ready. Finally, it was the moment I had been dreaming of all year: Eidi. After receiving it , I felt like the queen of this world. 😂 . I ran to each member to collect eddi. I roughly collected twenty five thousand rupees, this number increases only because my Brother sent me eddi in USD. 😂
Eid Clicks
Here comes the most awaited part of Eid day: clicking pictures. You probably wouldn’t have any idea how much competition there is to get good shots to upload on social media. Again, it’s fun but mandatory. I clicked about 340 pictures on Eid, and it took me two and a half hours to complete my photo session 😂. Tell me frankly , how's the pictures?
Then I went to kitchen to have an Eid desert, Custard . Which I made Myself on a night before eid.
Guest arrival
The highlight of my Eid was hosting the guests because Eid is known for the enchanting arrival of guests. And here comes that moment which required my solid hard work. Being the youngest and only helper of my mother, I cooked up homemade dishes alongside online orders as well. By the way , the table looks aesthetic, isn’t it ? 😂
2nd Day of Eid
On the second day of Eid, my college friend Kashaf threw a fantastic college union at her place, where all college fellows were invited . The gathering was scheduled for lunchtime. I decided to add some sweetness to the occasion by bringing a cake for her , especially since she has recently shifted to her new house.
I got ready and went to her house, the delicious food greeted me that Kashaf has made that all herself, where she had prepared a variety of dishes: pasta, macaroni, biryani, custard, and fruit salad. We had a really good time because meeting old friends is such a mental therapy reminding us a flashback full of companionship and friendship without any benefits and selfishness. The pure Innocent Days.
Family outing
On my return to my house , my family excitedly planned an outing , we went to a colony to witness our new under construction dream house. With each step , a thousand of memories awaited to be made in that place .
On our return , we gathered for our final meal of the day. The pizza , in a restraunt .
3rd Day of Eid
Again , another family came to visit us . Me and my Mother cooked the whole dishes For them . It was really fun, cooking together.
As the sun set, casting its golden glow across the view, we bid farewell to this warm and beautiful day of our holy Eid.
