Hello Hive Friends
This is my first post after more than two years of inactivity on the Hive blog. Because I haven't interacted with you all for a long time, maybe many Hive friends have been forgot with me. My name is @ettydiallova. I used to always make content about Taiwan, because I worked and lived in Taiwan for 12 years. In 2022 I returned to Indonesia, and since then I have not been active in writing because adapting to Indonesia is also very labour intensive and time consuming.
At this time, thank God, I feel that I have time to write, so I decided to return to being active on this Blog, even though the account I currently have is still under monitoring because I made a mistake. However, I hope my friends at HIVE will still accept me and provide support. Because without the support of all my friends, I am nothing and certainly difficult to develop.
My job right now is a teacher at an international school that uses English and Mandarin. I've only been working here for a month after leaving my old job teaching Mandarin to prospective overseas workers in Taiwan. In this job, my job was to teach the language, teach how to work and also how Taiwanese culture is as a preparation for those who want to work abroad to change their education.
This is inversely proportional to my current job, which is tasked with teaching young children who are still very active and curious. However, this makes it a new challenge for me to know more about children's growth and world. My days are colourful because I have fellow teachers who support each other. Especially for me who is new to the world of formal education for children.
I also recently returned from Solo for three months of training as a curriculum coordinator at a well-known international school in Solo, Focuss Independent School (FIS). This training was given by the school as a form of professional development (Prov Def) for prospective school leaders who will make programme and curriculum changes for the school.
The dynamic development of the world of education makes our school continue to improve quality and quality for schools by collaborating between the national curriculum and the international curriculum in the form of: Cambridge and International Primary Curriculum (IPC). This is a new thing and also a challenge and new experience for me in the world of education which aims to educate the future of the nation's next generation.
That's the opening post for now, I will tell you about my life during my three months in Solo in the next posts and Also I want to share how I adapted to life in Indonesia and started a new life after living for a long time in a country with guaranteed facilities and adequate economy.
Good health and always success to all Hive friends, thank you for reading and supporting this post.
